This is a mixed bag for me. The choice of speed +/- pickups are a help but hindrance if you go too slow or fast, which adds a nice challenge. Character art and background is good, its satisfying to hit many regions in a row but I'm struggling to relate it to the theme. The music also can be a distraction (this may be intentional though) as some segments just repeat aggressively. Overall its fun but could do with a little bit more polish with the UI and relation to theme

This game is a vibe, impressive for sure. Really goes for the true barber experience where I can butcher peoples haircuts. Controls feel responsive and the attention to detail is nice, I particularly enjoyed the tv interaction with the saxophone guy hair request. Visuals are great and pair well with the satisfying sfx. Music is also really nice to have in the background and fits the aesthetic so well

Quite enjoyable, slightly unsettling (in a good way) as others have said so it hits the theme. Sound mixing could've used a little more refinement, npc dialogue was often quite loud in the mix compared to other sounds, and the ambient drone in the background gets old quick. Other than that its good, dialogue system is cool and the game's aesthetic lends itself well for what's going on

Very cool concept, its an interesting way of telling a story. The atmosphere is just right for the visuals and its UI layout

I created my account to participate in the recent Brackeys game jam, although my account has been help up in review since. Is there anything that can be done to help speed up this moderation process as waiting nearly half a month just for an account to be approved is quite inconvenient?

Hey, I'm Jake. I'm experienced in music composition, audio implementation and dynamic/adaptive music using audio middleware. I specialise in atmospheric, ambient, orchestral, rock/metal music styles but I'm flexible and open to composing whatever fits the project.

If you want to hear what I can compose, feel free to head over to my website (https://www.jakeeves.com/). I keep a curated selection of sample tracks on my "Projects" page and there is music related to my other game projects throughout the website.
