Yeah I was super torn on diagonal movement. To be honest I thought I remembered the original gameboy didn't support having two d-pad buttons down at the same time so I left it out... but it turns out I must have just hallucinated that memory.
I'm curious was the hitbox bigger or smaller than you expected?
