This one was pretty fun to go through and one where I can honestly forgive most of the jank as its part of the appeal I sense. I also like how absurd the game feels with its premise and the fact that as wonky as the holes are for the most part there's always the option to use unconventional routes of travel to get into the hole. I will say though that there one bug that was probably annoying enough that I think the game could go without is the wonky interactions that happen when you hold R, as it seems that the reset function basically runs as much as its called which means that it's being called multiple times when you hold it down. There are a couple of different relatively elegant ways to prevent it ranging from input tracking to coroutines though I won't give specific recommendations because I don't know this project's codebase and I'm not arrogant enough so as to say that whatever I'd think up of would be the most optimal solution.

I should apologize for the long response; my ramblings about that reset bug is not indicative of any distaste to the game as a whole. I did very much enjoy playing through the whole thing and I applaud the fact that you were able to put in extra features like custom colors.

(Note: I have no idea why the 2nd paragraph's spoiler marked and I can't figure out how to remove it.)

I have to say that I quite enjoyed playing the game, the description certainly does not lie when it says that its simple but still quite addictive. In particular I think the way all of the systems scale around the score multiplier is what really makes the game capable of nailing its own feel and adding some complexity all without having to implement extra inputs/player mechanics.

I will note that ig I'm the next IGM reviewer because I was way too skill issue to unlock anything beyond the first entry (mainly because I couldn't get anywhere near that score). But what I saw in the first entry itself is pretty darn interesting. This is definitely a work worth being proud of.

On the game's story (spoiler)

In terms of the game's story I will note that I haven't exactly had the same experiences on the subject, but this is not to criticize the game's story at all. In fact, I think the game's high pressure atmosphere perfectly matches the intense feelings found in entry.
