Thanks! The sudden debts aren't your laptop that's a bug, and I'm hunting it down for the next update. If you can, send me a save where it happens (Game → Save, the file is in the saves folder) it would help a lot. Building a whole supply chain in one go and leasing land are great ideas, both noted! I’m already working on patch 0.16 right now and will make these changes. <3
Thanks for the report! I reproduced your setup: the warehouse works, but copper mines produce copper ore, while most factories need refined copper, made from ore at a copper smelter. So the ore just piled up. The game didn't tell you that, which is on me: the next update says it right in the factory window. A proper in-game manual is on the list too.
Thank you, this is exactly the kind of feedback that helps and it didn't read as negative at all. The empty wallet is a great catch: there's a CEO salary and manual dividends in the corporation window, but clearly they're too hidden and too small for a billionaire, so an automatic "% of profit to the owner" is going in. The factory line not picking up its own part is a bug, I'll track it down. The contracts popup will calm down after the first few times, and naming your kids is an easy yes. The warehouse mostly matters once you trade across countries I'll make that clearer.<3
