Awesome, this is a great foundation for an excellent game, I hope you continue to work on it.

Wow, what a cool game, lots of modern mechanics and it uses PCHG plus HAM6 on a 1MB A500 so 300+ colors a lot of the time.  Can you describe more about how you used HAM as I've never seen it used this way before?  Great stuff!

Thanks for another interesting game.  Do you think if you made the helicopter and it's shadow as AGA 64 wide hardware sprites that you might be able to get it to a consistent 25fps on a stock A1200 with just Fast RAM?  Or maybe shrink the screen size a bit or reduce it to 128 colors in game?  Curious on your thoughts, thanks.

Very technically impressive.  The Ski Jump background is some of the most beautiful art I've seen on the Amiga, crazy that it's AI generated.  And it all scrolls at 50 fps, amazing.  Have to play more later but Biathlon is probably my favourite so far, nice work!

I got stuck on what turned out to be the last section with my first play session.  I just went back and beat it today though!  It is quite difficult and I like to always play games with save states but I think it's a good challenge.  As long as the very beginning of the game isn't too hard and it kind of eases into it I think that works.  The only thing I might change if it's not that way already is for those playing on real hardware without access to save states to have the checkpoints so that you don't have to go back too far since there is a lot of trial and error to find the best route.  Both great demos, I look forward to more!

Really enjoyed the new demo, some great mechanics and strategy involved and the graphics are even better than the last demo, great work!

Very addictive, love the parallax and DJ scratch and the animation.

Super fun and intense game, it looked so great playing it on my big TV, the opposite of butt graphics!  Look forward to more games in this style.

Wonderful graphics, enjoyable gameplay, look forward to more!

Beautiful fun game, what more could you want!

Great graphics, unique controls, great music, awesome bosses, I love it!

We're working on it consistently but slowly so I would think not until next year sometime at the least.

Unfortunately not, right now putting all my efforts into working on the new game Anguish.

Great game, love the precision platforming and the level design!

Looks very nice, any chance of an Amiga port one day?  I'd definitely buy it.

Awesome, looking forward to it!

I really enjoyed this one and the music is great!

Thanks, but it's actually a falcon not an owl :)  It is on the difficult side for now but I wanted the demo to be a challenge to hold people over until the final game which might take quite awhile to finish.  We plan to tone down the difficulty for the final full release.

Thanks so much for making the video, did you get a chance to try the bonus level, it comes in a separate file.

Great game and great series.  Just playing through all the Boxx's, do you have a place to donate?  Love this modern mini genre on the Amiga of small sprite platformers like Trap Runner, Minky, Tiny Pixel Adventure etc. they are all so playable.  Hope you'll make more in the future!

Stunning game.  I just finished it with save states (I just had to see all the graphics).  Those heat seeking birds in level two are no joke.  Any plans to make more levels in the future?  I would love to see some different background types with your incredible art skills.  Here's hoping but either way thanks so much for dropping such a great surprise to start 2025!

Thanks for the kinds words.  I deliberately made it tough since I knew that we'd only have this one level demo for quite awhile so thought I'd make it difficult to get through quickly.  For the hopefully future full game I plan to decrease the difficulty for this first level in the ways you suggested.  I also had the powerups like the 3 way and the nuclear plasma later on time out after awhile just to give the player a taste of them.  In the full game you'll probably be able to stockpile them and use them whenever you want.  Thanks again for playing and rating and I enjoyed your game too!

Love the game, just got to level 4 so far.  Both this and Dr Dangerous are great fun and very challenging.  Would you maybe consider doing a copper background so there is a little bit of a parallax effect, that would be the cherry on top.  Either way thanks for your great Amiga games!

Thank you for the great comments.  Yeah you should definitely try Agony, I think it might just be the most beautiful game on any system of the 16 bit era.

Thank you for the kind words.  Quite a lot of people liked the first level but I didn't get much response to the second level.  My daughter did most of the graphics for level one but it's hard to get her motivated to do more these days.  Maybe after I finish my new game Anguish and if my daughter has a change of heart I will return to Silhouette Threat one day.

Wow, thanks so much, glad you liked it!  We are hoping to get a big box release one day, we were thinking maybe for Amiga 40 but that might be a little too ambitious :)

Thank you, it's great that you do these every month!

Thank you for the kind words.  Plans are for level 2 to be sort of pirate inspired, legendary Amiga artist Jim Sachs has given us permission to use one of his beautiful backgrounds he made for an unreleased game.

Thanks for playing it.  Not sure what you mean by placeholders though.  Yes, it's only one level but it is complete, there are 2 original songs, 3 different level sections with changing backgrounds and themes, new enemies in each, 5 powerups, a full 3 stage boss battle etc.

Thanks for the video, always enjoy seeing how different people approach the game.

Thanks for the video, was fun to watch you play!

Great game.  Just finished it with save states, didn't realize it was such a platformer, and I love platformers.  Nice work, look forward to your next Amiga game!

Thank you for doing both videos, you're the best!

Thank you!

No problem.  No ECS version unfortunately because I like to have at least 3 levels of overlapping parallax in all the levels and with Scorpion Engine that is currently only doable with AGA and the 8 64 pixel wide sprites.  Maybe in the future if dual playfield parallax is added to Scorpion then I could try it.

Sorry I forgot to reply to this, thank you for playing and thanks for making the video, you got a new subscriber.

Thank you for the compliment and thanks for playing the game and showcasing it in your video.  I'm hoping to put out a demo of Level 2 in a couple of weeks time.

Thanks so much!  I'm impressed with the skill level, I still have a hard time making the jump onto the moving platform from the disappearing one!

Thank you so much, you're so quick!  It was actually one of my goals in releasing the demo to get on your channel, very honoured as I check your page everyday for new releases.  Thanks for playing.
