Some of the fish have net level requirements before they will appear.

Loved it. This is a well-tuned, relaxing fishing RPG. I played it for hours.

I was going to try to get all the fish, but I only got to 53 before encountering a crash. For context, I had 3365g, 26 fish, all the upgrades, and was attempting to dock at Crescentia, and it was during the New Moon phase.

You're probably already well aware of this, but fishing spots spawn on land tiles :).

There's a tiny spot in the middle of the ocean, west of Valeshire and East of Mingantia, where you can dock at Valeshire. Another one, just northeast of the Z-shaped island in the chain trailing north of Crescentia, docks at Crescentia. There may be other such spots, but I did not find them. As far as bugs go, this one is rather charming.

Wonderful, wonderful experience, and a great entry!

This feels like catharsis for all those pitch black maze dungeons in Dragon Quest 1.

I really enjoyed this. Cute visual and audio presentation. I suppose navigating around corners feels a bit stiff? But I had a lot of fun here.

I quite liked this. Inspired mechanical riff on the Moon theme of the jam. I feel like you're pushing gravity mechanics here in a way that we didn't see explored in Super Mario Galaxy. Very cute presentation, too.

One very small artistic comment: I mistook the tall thin plants for spikes, and avoided these platforms until late in the game!

I really liked this one. Saw it through to the end. The ability to adjust the Moon's velocity with the mouse wheel feels very Playdate-crank-esque in a good way. I think it's pretty well-balanced, with an infuriating early game where it's a struggle to get up to five bucks, and a steady curve up to feeling suitably overpowered with four Moons wheeling around. Something special about this one, I think.

Hey! This was neat! Figuring out how to interact with this system of moon physics was engaging. I could see you expanding this idea with different coloured boxes that have different behaviors--that could be really fun! Congrats on your submission!

Mouse controls? Mouse controls??? I get it. eheheheheheh.

Anyway. Very cool idea, explored and developed with creativity and skill. I really appreciate being able to retry a level after getting a really high par on my first try--satisfies the score chaser in me.

Something I want to highlight in your art direction is the touch of colour-bleed between tiles. That adds a lovely hand-drawn charm to the work.

Very occasionally the sightline would assure me that my cheese would ping off of a corner, only to sail right past it and leave mice wanting for cheese. Could be a skill issue on my part.

A difficult, but generous game. I really like this.

Hey. This is sick as hell. Delightful stuff. The moon's face at the end was a very good bit. I also smile at the choice to include a Game Boy filter in the graphics options, as building a fighting game-type experience in Usagi feels very much of the same spirit of those ambitious FG ports on the Game Boy and Game Gear.

If there's anything at all I found I struggled with, it might be that the back end of the hitboxes for Usa's attacks, particularly the jump kick, are a hair less forgiving than I would expect, leading many opponents to slip past me. Easing up on that, however, might eliminate the challenge, so I'm not committed to calling it an issue.

Anyway, great work. Really enjoyed my time with it.

Great work--the dash packs a punch. 'Grats on your first jam submission wooooo

I liked it

It's good.

Quite identified with the paranoia around keeping one's youtube algorithim intentional and the fear that induces when you want to watch something interesting. Cool stuff.

Slickly-packaged little zine bringing together a couple of bangers from one of my favourite critics in the scene.

10 / 10 game, :( / 10 Father's Love.

I am on Linux and got it working without issue by adding it to Steam as a non-steam game and forcing it to run via Proton experimental. Hope this is helpful!
