Incredibly well polished The Voxel art is so fresh and being able too look at the world through your villagers eyes is a great touch.

Played it for quite a while and enjoyed my time, i did run into a bug where the thunderstorm stayed on the map after the event, same with the wall that it destroyed, they didn't de-spawn even though i could build something new on the field. Otherwise a great time, well done to the team!

Thank you so much for all the feedback!
As a big mirror's edge fan myself I’ll defiantly consider adding a "In air crouch prep" animation to a future update, thanks for providing the timed reference :D

Thank you for enjoying it :)
We're adjusting some parts of the initial difficulty for a future update, feedback is always appreciated :)

The team had a blast watching you play our game.
Thank you for the kind words and you're welcome to Sweden anytime! ;D

Hell yeah glad you enjoyed it!
The furthest anyone in the team managed to make it is to room 94, up to the challenge? ;)

Cute art style tied to a lovely short and sweet game, giving me old Flash vibes in the best ways.

Well done on your jam entry :)

Excellently made dungeon crawler!
Super smooth to control and having to sometimes pick a different weapon between the floors made it fun to change your play-style on the fly.

I did sadly encounter a bug where the game crashed (in browser) when i reached the last floor of the mausoleum

But otherwise phenomenal work!

Just one fantastic boss fight!
Simple, 200% on theme with the jam and simply great. Great work!

The game is just one big boss fight, and it's great!
One of my favourite takes on the Countdown theme for the jam!

"When the moon hits your eye
Like a big pizza pie, that's amore"

Great work from the whole team! y'all got so many features in that it's really baffling, love the scroll wheel to change the pizza, a full game could have even more flavours with a-more abilities (Deep Dish pizza to go underwater?)

So glad you enjoyed the game.
I can confirm that we are at least working on some post-jam updates to the game based on all the feedback we're getting :)

Hell yeah, 81 rooms is a great score, our internal record in the team is 94 if you're up to a challenge ;)

Thank you so much, warms my heart that my animations are being enjoyed!

I miss installing viruses on my dad's home office computer, thanks for the throwback.
All that's missing is a giant Bonzi Buddy covering the screen and then we're gold!

This is too much fun, the goofy animations had me laughing to myself a lot.
Super juicy and addicting, well done!

Now this is a vibe!
Incredible work with the limited animation

I see the potential, planning your turns with while seeing the enemies intent is fun for a rpg combat like this.
Maybe it was my bad luck but i felt the damage rolls where always a bit on the lower side for the character, either failing or clashing (Saw some clash related relics that i should have picked up haha) but that's RNG for you. great work!

Love me some 2D platformers, movement feels very fast and fluid which is nice.

The level design could use some touch-ups, the death pits and leap of faith drops remind me of AVGN Adventures.

But old school vibes are always fun, good job on the jam!

The "are we the badies" meme comes to mind as i'm strip mining the island for all it's resources haha.
Congratulations on your first game jam, excellent work!

I lost track of time compleatly while playing this, i love a good "One more Round" game and you nailed it.
Could use with some OST songs in the background but the game is really relaxing as is!

(Unrelated PS: got Tethergesit earlier this year, phenomenal!)

Excellent take on the theme!
Super charming writing and art, want to see more of it :)

Love the subversions that every character had, even if the final boss made my dyslexic brain struggle for a bit haha

(2 edits)

We're really glad you enjoyed it!
we had a bit of a problem during the development where we too kept getting sucked into playing it instead of working on it haha

Super cool to see a FF tactics style game in a Jam like this, awsome work!
Feels realy nice to play (although the canon sounds in the background where a bit loud even with lowered SFX)

My favourite of the jam so far!
The art is so cute, the soundtrack is truly stunning and i really like the concept and theme.

Blown away by the level of polish the team managed to reach in just 4 days

Just wow!
The art is so cute, the soundtrack is truly stunning and i really like the concept and theme.
My favourite of the jam so far!

Absolute peak WarioWare minigame energy!
This one had me giggling out loud as the music got more and more intense!
Excellent Jam submission

Lovely art and intro, very stonks!

Very moody game with a fun game loop.
Great job!

Fun time, I'm a big fan of card games so this scratched that itch.
Like the idea of big effect cards taking up space on your board for a long time, risk/reward mechanics are always great in card games

Thank you so much :3
As the animator on this game it means so much that what i created on such a short deadline is being enjoyed <3
