Hey, yea i played on the latest version. There was a tutorial, but it wasn't clear about the jumping. In the screenshot below, you can see the hover above the ledge I meant, and how the itch overlay is in the way during this mini-game scene.

I clicked the "submission for portfolio jam" and obviously the browser leaves, and it stops the game, I don't think you can help it but i just wanted to clarify what i meant

hovering and ui overlay

Hello, I gave this a go; I like the art and concept a lot.

I have had some challenges.
1. The jumping: I wasn't high enough at first; it wasn't clear that if you move, you jump higher... sometimes? Also, I don't think I jumped high enough a few times, but still I sort of teleported on top of the ledges...

2. At the saxaphone aim and shoot game, due to the itch overlay on the right when the items falling down where too far to the right i would click on a itch overlay making the browser navigate elsewhere so i got stuck there, i don't think ti's the game it's the itch website overlay.

last thing which just looked a bit odd is that when you're on a ledge you kind of float just above it, your nost standing on the ledge but 2 or 3 pix above it, it looks a bit odd.

Again, cool concept and good luck!

Hey, I gave this a go and chased away the new resident.

To anwser your feedback question. yes the NPC went through the walls.
I also didn't see myself very well in the kitchen area due to the floor tiles.
Cool concept, but not seeing myself well and not knowing what i could interact with made it challenging for me.

hey, i gave this a go, i was a bit confussed about the jumping at the start as i couldn't get high enough so maybe add to the tutorial that you can jump higher by moving or something.

I like the art a lot, but the character hovers above the platforms ever so slightly, and it glitches on when you jump from the bottom i thought i woulnd't get high enough but still teleported onto the ledges i think.

I like the sax game, but due to the interface which overlaps with the game on the right side i couldn't go further as if you click in that direction the game stops. sorry I couldn't test more.

Looks cool though! and original idea!

I've send you a discord request :)

It's cute i liked it, did get stuck behind buildings quite a bit

Their 32pix tiles inside a tile map layer and they're scripted together in 12 different shapes, if that makes sense?

hi! thanks for reading

No, I made tile shapes of 6 tiles (folded open qube), and they're in a TileMapLayer. I just made the first 2 images 1 tile at a time to see what it would look like; by now it works as an in-game feature.

I just started the project last week; it's also my first project, but I got the board done and the placement logic done, so happy with that.

My Goal for two weeks would be to complete my dice management.

I already have:

-  a dice bag
- 3 random dice
- each die showing 3 random crests

I want to build on to it:
Week 1:
- Count and check if the player has enough summon crests
- IF yes place the unit on a valid tile & deduct the used die from the bag.
-  Movement logic (no animation)
- Attack logic (no animation)
- Save defence chrest for later & deduct the saved die from the bag.

Week 2:
Battle logic

Bonus goals:
Magic chrests and actions
Unit Aura's

Hey,  I think it's too early for that for my game but I added you on discord maybe next sprint or the one after we can have a chat on options?
