Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad that you liked it! It is true that the spikes are quite hard to discern. We will see if we can manage to make them more "spiky" looking post-jam

Thanks for playing! Limbo was indeed one of our inspiration when we thought of the game's style! Also, sorry for the buggy / unresponsive physics system, it is definitely something that I'll try to improve post-jam. I spent a long time during the jam trying to get it working as best as I could, but I am not very experienced with platformer-type games and handling the physics with the rotating platform was a bit harder than I first thought haha.
I reaaally love the artwork! I think that this is probably my favorite type of pixel art. The gameplay though is a bit rough sometimes, but others have already pointed that out. What I find a bit sad is that we are more often looking at the bar with the rectangles indicating the patrons than the art itself
I had a lot of fun with this game! The concept is very interesting too!
Though I have some problems with the grappling hook specifically. I don't know if I am just not very skilled (very possible haha) but I never managed to get the hang of it. I think that this boils down to two problems. Firstly, the grappling hook is activated both with the left click and space bar (meaning that the space bar is used both for jumping and grappling) and secondly you have no way of choosing which anchor point to use with the grappling hook. I don't understand how the game chooses which anchor point to use as it doesn't seem to pick the closest one. The grappling physics seem a bit off too, but I can't quite place what is wrong.
Also, I found that 'K' to age is a bit of an odd key to use, it's difficult to reach when platforming or mid-jump.
Still I really loved this game and especially the art / audio!
Very fun game! It took me a while to understand how to make money, I struggled with that for most of the game but then one of my rockets almost reached the moon and I got back an absurd amount of money. Also the 'R' key seems to reset the money too, I don't know if it is intended. Still I managed to get to the moon at the end
Very nice challenging game! Despite my best effort, I didn't manage to meet the quota of day 3 (the best I could do was being left with around a 100 of debt), I'm not very skilled at these quick input games and I guess that you need to reel one of the bigger fish of day 3 to meet the quota. Still, I found the game very fun!
Thanks! When we thought of the game idea, we didn't really consider level design at first. It's true that it was much harder to come up with interesting levels than we first thought haha. I spent something like 4 or 5 hours fiddling around to find the idea for the last level, it's also why the game doesn't have many levels :<
A very fun and polished game! I feel like it needs a bit of rebalancing though, as the effect of the clocks can stack it is possible to reduce the timer of most of the game's item to 1. This gets very unbalanced in combination with some item (the kettle for regen and the shield particularly). Still I am very impressed that you managed to do all of this in 4 days!
Thanks for the feedback! This lag issue is definitely something that I'll investigate further. It's strange as I really don't see why it happens. I checked the profiler on the web build, but didn't get any meaningful result. I'll have to check on another PC.
Otherwise, you are very right about the spikes, they needed to be small, but now they don't really look "spiky" at all.
It's very possible for the game to have lag issues on some computer, we didn't have time to get a proper playtest on other hardware. The physics system is also quite buggy at times if you are talking about that (I really tried to make it work for like half the gamejam, but I think that I would have needed a week to cover all edge cases).
Still, thanks for the feedback!
I got to rebirth! It's a very nice game! I think that the concept of an idle game where you don't get more of the "things" but reduce their timer is really clever. Though I have noted a few things that bugged me when playing :
First, I'm not an expert in idle game (I don't play idle games often), but the beginning of the game felt very slow. I don't think that the speed is the problem but the fact that you don't have anything to do while waiting for the countdowns to go to zero. Inversely, when you have unlocked every timer, you start to snowball very fast.
Also, it would be great if there was a way to know how many "points" each timer gives.
But overall, I think that it is a great game!
