Man, what a perfect game! I think it’s the most complete game I’ve played in this jam. You did an amazing job — congratulations!

¡Hola!
Man, it’s really cool to see that we started with pretty much the same idea, but ended up making two completely different games. I absolutely loved the graphics and the music — it’s amazing how the plants actually get up and chase the enemies!
Some of the text felt a little weird, but the other parts of the game more than make up for it. Great job!
Hey, like they say, third time’s the charm! I finally managed to play the game properly and actually understand what I was supposed to do. After three nights, my chickens were still alive, so I guess that’s progress 😂
I can’t even imagine how difficult it must have been to program something for whatever the hell that platform is hahaha. Anyway, it’s a fun game in the end!
If you get the chance, check out and rate CropoCalypse! Thanks!
Man, I really loved the opening cutscene! It shows a lot of potential and made me really curious about the game. That said, it felt a bit incomplete when I played it. Maybe something bugged out on my end, but I didn’t get any sound, and the day wouldn’t progress at all. Also, it seems like the map doesn’t have any boundaries, since I accidentally walked out of it just by going straight to the left.
Still, I think the game has a lot of potential, and I’d love to see where you take it with some more polish!
Man, I absolutely loved the atmosphere the game created. It took me forever to get my first mushroom, but I felt extremely accomplished when I finally got it. That’s the feeling the game gives you — it has this satisfying difficulty where it takes some time to figure out where you are and understand how everything works.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play and leave such detailed feedback!
This was our very first Game Jam, so we didn’t have enough time to implement checkpoints, polish the camera, or even properly test the balance of the level design. We totally agree that blind jumps and instant restarts make the experience tougher than it should be, and your suggestions about zooming the camera and adding look-ahead controls are super valuable — definitely things we’d love to explore in the future.
We’re glad to hear you still found a solid base here. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll come back to this project and give it the polish it deserves. Thanks again for the kind words and constructive critique!
Thank you so much for playing and for the detailed feedback!
This was actually our very first Game Jam, so we didn’t have the time to properly polish the game or even do enough playtesting before the deadline. We completely understand the points you mentioned — blind jumps, hitboxes, and platform mechanics are definitely areas we’d like to refine.
We’re really happy you enjoyed the sounds effects. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll revisit this project, polish it properly, and give it the love it deserves!
