Hello! I’m honestly unsure on how to respond to this, because right now all I can think about is that I want to print this out a few times and put it around my home so I can see it and be reminded that the things I create do and have reached others. This, genuinely, is one of the kindest things ever said to me. Also I don’t own a printer, so I can’t do that.

I’ve been through a lot since creating Nothing and Everything, but it’s been a constant reminder that I can do things, even when the worst is thrown at me. To know others enjoyed it at all, but adding you taking the time to write this wonderful comment, is a feeling of euphoria I cannot describe. While I cannot honestly say I’m in the best state right now, I am doing immensely better than then, and, despite some health scares, my cats are also doing well.

As far as Sebastian and Cal go, they do remain friends in their story, though their connection is strained for a bit as they each come into their own as separate people. The time they spent together is cherished greatly by both of them, and they’re both eternally grateful for having what they did when they did, especially with how much it taught each of them about themselves as people.

Thank you so, so, so much for the kind words. I hope the world is as kind to you as you’ve been to me here. 🫶

as someone who adores what you create, i'd much prefer you prioritize yourself first; in whatever form that may come. if being a game dev isn't it, i'll happily read your writing, consume what you can draw, etc. i'd rather you keep yourself able to do what you love and enjoy it than push yourself too far, or feel bad physically or mentally about what you're doing. good luck with your journey, and i look forward to Eating Up anything and everything you show to the world <3

i am starting this comment three minutes after playing through in one hour long sitting, because gods i can’t not comment on this.

first of all; art? gorgeous. writing? beyond phenomenal. everything about it just spoke to me, made me feel things, and stood out. i’m struggling with words because of how much i want to say, but can’t articulate. i'll try my best, though.

i’ve never reached quite the low of having a plan to end my own life, but i’ve gotten close to that point. reading through this, every devastating moment, and every wonderful moment, was so real to me. and i loved everything about it. i’ve had the experience of finding someone to love who helps you love yourself by wanting to be there for them, by wanting to help them get better, seeing the self destructive behaviors in them, and realizing how bad it is, and realizing you want to help them, which, in turn, helps you. it was not a romantic love for me, but it’s a roller coaster no matter what. i understand relapses (though not with drugs or alcohol, but other destructive things), and gods... it’s so hard. it’s awful watching someone else do it. even harder when you want to be there for them, and worse when it makes you feel a need to relapse too.

however, reading through this, getting to the end, was a hard reminder i personally really needed right now that things do get better. things can look up. healing takes time, and it’s not linear in the slightest. it felt like this was exactly what i needed to read right now. exactly what i needed to see. exactly the experience and reminder i needed. to continue, to look up, and to remind myself to respect me, along with caring deeply for those i love. and to punch shitty people (this part is a joke)

everything about this was beautiful. everything about this was Perfect in it’s  fucked up package of highs and lows. it hits so hard, and in such a painfully wonderful way. thank you for making this.

sorry for such a late reply, but i got around to adding the link to Smith's character page on toyhouse to my itch profile! if you want a peek at his lore, feel free to check that out! :D

AKLJFSDJDL this is one of my favorite responses to one of my characters ever.
Smith would've loved to be friends but sometimes life just doesn't let things work out :(

i'm so glad we could lift your mood! Roy is my favorite don't tell me others  ;3
and i'm so sorry to disappoint with Smith not being properly romancable!! i couldn't really go into depth about it in game as we were running low on time and steam :(
