There's definitely multiple solutions, because I needed all 10 rows for level 5. I came up with (spoilers):

L[d1, r1, c, u1, r1, l1, u2, l2, r4, o]; R[l1, c, r1, d1, u4, l1, o, ~, ~, ~] (with l, r, u and d being directions, c & o being close and open, and ~ being empty - I hope it makes sense lol). I'd love to hear a better solution, though!

Oh, and one idea: It's a little disappointing right now when you find the tavernkeeper during the day, as it feels like you just wasted an hour. If you ever make more puzzles for this game, it might be more fun if the tavernkeeper says something like "[x, y, and z roles] visited the tavern last night. One of them drank too much." This places suspicion on a few roles and dismisses the possibility that other lying roles could be drunk without fully giving it away. Alternatively, something as simple as "[x role] didn't visit the tavern last night." gives away less information without feeling like a complete waste. I know it removes the "tavern is only open at dusk" element, but I think it's more fun gameplay-wise.

Good game! Proud to say I got every wolf first-try - though not without tearing my hair out, haha. I do wish I had gotten a little more meta information. How does the priest count distance? What counts as "surrounding"? What kind of new information will I learn from a role during dusk vs day? I figured out the answers to these questions over time, but it was frustrating being unsure of the rules I needed to operate under. The puzzles themselves were great though, and I had a lot of fun solving them!

It did! I enjoyed trying to optimize as best I could, even if it took me a little bit to understand the mechanics. Nice work!

Hello, I'm one of the artists - I've been absolutely blown away by every single positive comment I've read, but watching your live reaction made my day. Thank you so, so much!

PS: you should look up "sea bunnies" sometime, which were the inspiration for the Mitobits :)

Cute and a bit addicting! A great little arcade game.

From one Godot dev to another: make sure to enable "SharedArrayBuffer support" from the "edit game" menu on itch. It should be under Embed options -> Frame options. This will make the game playable in browser!

I don't know the deal with "Cross-Origin Isolation", but I ran across the former issue when I was putting my first game up on itch. In the meantime, I'll be playing and rating the Windows version instead :)
