Thanks for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, and your suggestion makes sense.

Gusts were unlimited at first, but I added a per-level limit because the game felt a little too easy during my own playtests. I’m considering a free-play mode with unlimited gusts, so players can explore freely, experiment, and simply enjoy playing with the world as the wind.

The opening animation has a lovely, dreamlike art style, though it felt a little long to me. During my time with the game, I wasn’t sure how to interact or what I was supposed to do, so the experience felt more like watching an animation. Getting the player involved earlier and introducing the core mechanic through a simple interaction could help.

The title screen and BGM gave me a good first impression! Once I started playing, though, the character’s simple geometric design felt quite different from what I’d expected, which was a little disappointing. The sound effects also felt rather basic and didn’t quite fit the overall atmosphere.

I was a bit unsure what to do at the start, especially during the long wait before the first enemy wave. I actually thought the game had frozen. A countdown or a cue during that wait would help clarify what’s happening.

The art style is really distinctive! I spent a while exploring, but I still wasn’t quite sure how to play. A simple interactive introduction to the core mechanic would help me get into the game.

谢谢试玩和鼓励!有个小技巧可以试试:在叶子前方画风,会更容易把叶子吹起来。
一起加油!

Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback! I’ll keep your notes on the harmonies and string sound in mind. One small tip that may help with the controls: drawing the wind just ahead of the leaf can make it easier to get it moving.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! You can retry the current level from the pause menu—just click the pause button in the bottom-left corner.

Haha, great minds think alike! Looking forward to checking out your game!

A small leaf. A distant light. A valley waiting to respond.

In The Wind Will Take You There, you draw short breezes to guide the leaf onward. A bell rings, flowers open, and one small movement reaches farther than you expect.

I made this for thatgamecompany's thatgamejam #02. I'd love for fellow jammers to take it for a spin.

A glimpse of the valley in The Wind Will Take You There

If you try it, I'd love to hear which moment stayed with you.
