It might look nice and be easier to read if the format of the pages are like those of the "Golden Ratio Medieval Tomes"?

A very cool, very inspiring idea. I hope to see updates to this document for the 2026 DURF Jam (TBA). The document spotlights only a handful of creatures, but, as the author says, more will come if interest is shown. I do have a few requests for future editions. Personally, I wish the page size and orientation was the same as that of DURF Gamebook. I like the use of the Blackletter Font, but I wish it was restricted to a few key parts of the format. The font is fun to read for short titles and sentences, but too complex for entire paragraphs. I'd like to see simple italics text used for the description which could be presented in quotations as the testimony of the original witness? The statistical info for use in the game might be better concealed or blended in with the document's layout? Anyways, a great foundation.
Pocket Dagon is a skills only based game requiring polyhedral dice. Players portray castaways with amnesia on a deserted island that is lost in time.
Inspired by
“Dagon” (H P Lovecraft),
“The Most Dangerous Game” (Richard Connell),
The Bourne Identity (2002),
Lost --TV series (2004),
Kong: Skull Island (2017),
and of course, Gilligan’s Island (1964)
Cool little side game. I think "In-between" or Acey-Deucey would be a good game for players to use. It might be good to have each turn represent 30min. in game time? That way players not participating will only have to wait for a few hands or can have a side adventure of their own? My biggest wish is for usage of the back page. Perhaps a simple game and/or a set of cards (unique or not)? Overall, though, nice work.
I like this, but I did find some of the descriptors a bit confusing. I'm wondering if the space might be better used for a random table to expand the description of the clients? Or maybe 2d6 or 3d6 client descriptions might be used. Then you could cross out these client names when the price is too high?
Bookmarks to Business Cards. Next will be postage stamps. lol
I have a friend that makes leather covered journals and does the Con thing. He's cool enough to put my bookmarks in each one he sells and to distro them at the Cons. I figure people are more likely to keep a bookmark over a business card.
