This genuinely looks so promising. The UI is a bit overwhelming and too samey to start, and it would greatly benefit from a traditional tutorial. That said, the gameplay and rules are amazing to have for a game jam. Great work!

This looks really ambitious for a gamejam, but the environment definitely felts like a retro adventure game, quite cool. It may be just me, but when walking around, only the first character pops up and has dialogue, and I don't really know how to start the minigame. Is it possible to have a massive flashing UI interact button for this?

The visual effects and art are definitely there, pretty impressive that you got a clear style going on. For further polish, maybe try out a few  pixel fonts? Great work

Meta instructions and pretty goofy to play.

I do love how simple the game is to play and understand and the sheer polish that goes into the UI.
With how satisfying everything feels, it would be extra nice to know which upgrades are already maxed, and maybe have some non-gameplay rewards too - cosmetic upgrades, maybe?
All in all, amazing game!

The ice creams looks so delicious and the machine feels so satisfying to use
Amazing work!

Thanks for playing :))
As for the consequences, we did discuss whether the cauldron would explode and/or game over if the order was wrong, or reacting when the customers drink them, though focusing on getting game running was more important. Definitely something to consider if we do future updates

thank you so much! :))

Oh you're supposed to interact with the bookcase and go into the ruined room - the ending's there.
