I updated both list. im going to start a no spoiler post for the people that like to look for stuff on their own.

Thank you again for the hard work peps!

With 9 relics, he is still meh... Dunno if anybody has a good build for him.

Great! thank you cpeeta, you rock!

9 relic thus far.... I think you have a built-in radar for these things Cpeeta...... 🤔 😉 😏 🤣

I also reviewed the ones from the pre-merge map. I had all 12 of them. So the only one missing should be before Babil, I do not remember if the moon goes before or after babbil lol....

(1 edit)

Can anyone confirm if this particular hidden or secret passage midway through the left side of the Trabia Base main path has one memoir page? There’s an NPC near the path who says something like, “There’s no treasure left here anymore; we used it for our own survival.” This is a picture of the area in question.

Please let me know to update the main list.

Regards,

Hey Cpeeta,

Do you have 19 pages and just missing the one at Babbil Tower? Our count shows we're still missing #19 for some reason. Drop me a message with how many you have, and let's figure out if we're still missing one! I updated #14 for Auslen caves (I thought the town for some reason).

Regards,

>_> damn artifacts.... lol 8 in total then

Sadly, I'm still sitting at 16 pages right now, though the total count should be 17. I revisited everything after the world merge, right before entering Babil Tower, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It’s possible one slipped through from the first world in this run.

I’ve already been to the Auction House, but no pages have dropped this time. I vaguely remember getting that page the very first time I visited the town, so maybe that’s where the gap is coming from.

Edea's tome is located at the top of Archaeron Spire; this tower is located north of Mount Houzell. The place is surrounded by swamps, so you do need the chocobo to get there.

Maelstrom you get when you beat the boss of the Wild Temple. It is a common drop from it. I believe the Doom spell you get at Faluhd Castle. Some of the mobs there have the book. But I'm not 100% sure.

Hey Euphoniac,

By any chance do you have a list or an idea of the memoir pages' locations? We have a list up in another thread; please let us know if you know any of the missing ones that we have pending.
Regards,

I could swear I found a page there. Did you guys check on the basements where the dragon is? I can swear I found one there. Maybe I'm wrong....

I also think he rotates the number of relics that you have found thus far. I'm not seeing any repeated animations at all. Can somebody confirm this?

For the complete list!

  1. Pyramid: Chest located in a large sand room with bridges through a long, hidden passage.
  2. Hillsdale: Hug the left side of town by the armor shop.
  3. Mt. Matoya: In the last area on the south elevated cliff on the approach to the boss. You can’t miss it; look for a chest.
  4. Kohlingen Auction House: you have to bid for it.
  5. Kohlingen Cave: Near the end, in a room filled with crates and a chest.
  6. Conall Curach: After the first bridges, head down and to the left between some trees.
  7. Nightmare Cave: Located near North Dock (northeast edge of Linblum on the southeast continent).
  8. Magic Library: Top-left of the area before the save point. Walk the narrow path along the top wall to the left.
  9. Crescent Rivulet: 1st floor, lower-left area.
  10. Dragon King Roost: Located on the map right before the entrance to the room with the saving point. Before entering the door, go all the way west; there is a narrow path that takes you there
  11. Crystalline Weald:
  12. Leyton (a town in Ivalice): Purchase it from a man in the top left house for 5,000G.
  13. Mount Ozma: First mountain of the merged world. Look for a side passage along the main road up the mountain.
  14. Auslen Cave: Entering from the north, in the screen after the one with the levers, just before the stairs going down, there's a secret passage going right. after finding it there is another secret passage south that gives you an excellent weapon for Vahn too.
  15. Douzmir Lake: Inside the woodman's hut.
  16. Garamonde: A house with no sign. There’s a secret passage on the right side.
  17. Cleft of Wind: Go left immediately after entering the green area.
  18. Mount Houzell: Go left after entering the cave.
  19. The Citadel: In the king's chamber behind the throne. There is no visible paper page; it is hidden inside the far-right dresser.
  20. Tower of Babil (Tootsy): last one

Special Shoutouts:

A big thank you to danny89p for finding the page on Auslen Cave; that was a tough one to spot! Also, a shoutout to cpeeta for discovering the last one in the king's room and for locating most of the relics for Bosch! Thank you to everyone else who helped find all these items!

The current count is 9...

Confirmed relics:

1. Crescent Rivulet (northeastern part of the map)

2. Underworld crystalline weald.

3. Lucid Depths East entrance, second map (picture above)

4. Garamonde Village (far right side of the village, in between the trees and surrounded by treasure chests)

5. Wild Temple (top left part directly west from the main saving point at the middle)

6. Cleft of wind (map before fighting the wind fiend) all the way to the northwest part of the map.

7. Ancient Caves (map with all the jail rooms)

8. Trabia Base, post-world merge.

9. Elemental Abyss, right when the crystals in the walls turn red first map. You can't miss it.

Thank you all for helping with this.

Not in the main party but the party group, yes.

This is driving me nuts. I had 16 pages before reaching the Tower of Babil, I should have 19 total by now. Is that correct?

Has anyone found any other pages or discovered any locations where I should look for them? Have any been found in the new towns after the worlds merged?

Thanks again for all the help!

I do not remember correctly, but I believe it is on the auction house. :/ Sorry. Can anybody give us a hand?

Nobu — Burst DPS + Emergency Healer

Nobu is my hybrid monster. His self‑buff massively boosts all stats, and with multi‑hit relics he crits constantly.

  • Triple‑hit setup (Genji + Dragoon gloves)
  • Crits ~2 out of 3 hits
  • ~30–35k damage per round during burst
  • Heals 3500–4000 normally
  • Heals 6000+ during his 4‑round buff

He’s the backbone of the team.

Vera — Burst + Magic Resistance

Vera unloads her strongest spells for the first two rounds. On round three, she summons Zoneseeker to give the party magic resistance, which is essential for surviving Omega’s Ultima cycle.

Laka—Hastega + Support

Laka keeps the team alive and fast.

  • Hastega at the start or whenever needed
  • Emergency Megaelixir when multiple members dip
  • Equipped with Phoenix Plume for more HP and stronger healing
  • All Phoenix Downs revive at full HP, which is insanely convenient

She’s the team’s tempo controller.

Jasmine—Constant Burst DPS

Jasmine is my round‑to‑round damage engine. Her build is focused entirely on Vigor, crit, and hit rate.

Her gear:

  • Behemoth Headgear (+75 Vigor)
  • Minerva Bustier (Nullifies all elemental damage)
  • Power Sash (Mog Hide & Seek reward)
  • Prowess Band (+75 Vigor, +20% crit, +50% hit rate)
  • Bone Relic (+35% Vigor)
  • Vigor Yuzu (Doubles her Vigor)

This puts her at 1200+ Vigor, and she hits 20k–30k per round with Pummel. She can also emergency revive when needed.

Try to equip yourself with thunder resistance or absorbing gear to make your life easier. Especially on Laka.

Omega Strategy — Round‑by‑Round

🔹 Rounds 1–2: Full Burst

Everyone goes all‑in.

  • Jasmine: Pummel
  • Vera: Strongest spells
  • Nobu: Self‑buff → burst
  • Laka: Hastega → heal only if one ally drops below 50%

Goal: push Omega’s HP quickly while staying ahead of his damage.

🔹 Round 3: Prep for Ultima

  • Vera: Summon Zoneseeker
  • Nobu: Continue burst
  • Jasmine: Pummel
  • Laka: Heal/support as needed

This round sets up your survival window.

🔹 Round 4: Full Defense

Omega casts Ultima back‑to‑back.

  • Everyone defends
  • Only Nobu heals if absolutely necessary
  • Do NOT attack unless someone is critically low

If you don’t defend here, you get wiped.

🔹 Repeat the Cycle

After surviving Ultima:

  1. Burst for three rounds
  2. Reapplying Zoneseeker + Heal is necessary with Starlet or Kirin.
  3. Defend on the Ultima round
  4. Repeat until Omega falls

Behavior Note

Omega may shift to casting Ultima every 3 rounds once it drops below a certain HP threshold. I do not sure about this yet. If you notice the timing change, adjust your rotation accordingly.

I hope this helps!

Relics Found So Far

1. Crescent Rivulet

•Relic found here.

•Confirmed by both of us.

2. Underground Snow Forest

•Located shortly after meeting the Dwarf King.

•From the first intersection, take the west path.

•The relic is hidden along that route.

3. Floating Cave (Wind Fiend Area)

•In the last map where there are multiple rooms with stairs leading downward.

•The relic is located in the northwest corner of the map.

•Easy to miss because the mist obscures it until you get very close.

Relics Mentioned but Not Yet Confirmed

4. Esto Era Pyramid

•You mentioned there is supposed to be a relic here.

•I haven't found this one yet.

•Do you remember roughly where in the pyramid it is?

5. Mountain Area

•There may be a relic in the mountains.

•However, it's possible this is actually the same relic as the Underground Snow Forest one mentioned above.

•Not sure if they're separate locations or if we're talking about the same relic.

Current Count

Confirmed relics:

1.Crescent Rivulet

2.Underground Snow Forest

3.Floating Cave (Wind Fiend area)

Possible additional relics: 4. Esto Era Pyramid 5. Mountain area (may be the same as #2)

Too bad there doesn't seem to be any way to check how many relics your character is currently carrying.

Thank you for the info! by any chance have you found all memoir pages requested by the librarian npc from branch? I missing 3 and im going crazy trying to find them...

How do you get meteo? I rarely play the blm so never bother to look for it.

Jasmine’s final setup has been such a joy to use. I’m running:

  • Behemoth Headpiece
  • Nirvana Bustier (I love the elemental nullification, especially since her Spirit isn’t great)
  • War Monk Juzu (double Vigor is amazing on her)
  • Power Sash
  • Relic Band (from the Relic NPC in camp)

With this build, she’s sitting at 31.5% crit and 1150+ Vigor, and she just goes off. Her Pummel hits crit 3 out of 5 times, and each crit lands for around 9k. She never misses, she never slows down — she just tears through everything with style. Honestly, she’s become one of the most fun characters to use.

Nobu continues to impress in every fight. His healing scales beautifully with high Spirit, and those endgame ninja swords give him a ton of it.

  • Without his self‑buff, he heals for 3500–4000+ consistently.
  • With the buff active (lasts 4 rounds), his heals jump to 6000+, and his crits land around 18k per hit, he crits 2 out of 3 a lot of the times....

He’s such a satisfying hybrid—massive burst damage when you need it and clutch emergency healing when things get rough. He’s become one of my favorite endgame characters.

I have found 3 so far in the game. Does anybody know the location of the last 2? There is 5 in total correct?

Does anybody remember where the memoirs pages are located? like an actual list? I have 16 pages before Babyl Tower, which has the last one. I'm missing torrid caves and inferno chambers before the rift fight in the rift shrine, but I can't remember where those 3 missing ones are. Can anybody refresh my memoiry? xD

underground castle where you first meet them.

For Ami, I’m using the Coliseum reward staff, which gives 1000+ Magic boost. With it, her Maelstrom hits for around 20k damage, while that blue scythe-like spell can hit for 30k+ if both strikes connect—though landing both hits consistently is pretty unlikely. Thinking of switching her for Vera, since Nobu is my backup healer as well. Are you using the same staff for your blackmage build too?

Nobumasa has become absolutely insane in my run. Right now he’s sitting at 1100 ATK and 450+ SPR while using the katana that cuts Luck by 50% (painful, but worth it). Once he casts his self‑boost, every single stat jumps by a huge margin, and he basically turns into a hybrid monster—top‑tier burst damage and a reliable emergency healer. (heals a lot more than vahn)

With my current crit build (~30% crit, though it feels higher), he usually crits 2 out of 3 hits thanks to the Genji Glove giving him triple attacks. His crits land in the 18k–20k range, and the consistency is wild. He’s easily one of the best burst characters in the game and doubles as a backup healer when things get messy. He usually goes first too. (fastest char in the game)

I’m trying to refine Jasmine’s setup too. Does anyone know where the Prowess Band drops and what stats it gives? I was hoping she’d eventually get an upgraded version of the Combat Sash—something like a “Master’s Sash"—especially since she doesn’t get any ancient‑type weapons at all.

My current Jasmine build:

  • Behemoth Mask (the Spirit penalty hurts… badly)
  • Minerva Bustier
  • Power Sash
  • Bone Belt (+35% STR)
  • Hero Ring (+15 to all stats)

This puts her at 1100 ATK, ~260 DEF, and 170+ SPR.

Since she’s basically the female Sabin of the game, I’m wondering: Do you guys also invest in her magic stats? Her arts scale off both ATK and MAG, right? Or whichever stat is higher?

If you haven’t tried Nobumasa yet, you are seriously missing out. He has completely earned a permanent spot in my main party over Vahn. Here is a breakdown of why his kit is so ridiculously good if you build him right:

  • Insane Burst Damage: His self-buff turns him into a complete powerhouse, allowing him to hit like an absolute truck for 4 full rounds.
  • Top-Tier Sustain: He isn't just about raw damage; his healing ability is incredibly reliable, easily ticking for around 4,000 HP per round to keep the party healthy.
  • The 3x Attack Combo: If you equip the Genji Glove on him, he attacks 3 times per round.
  • The Crit Build Payoff: By stacking a critical hit build (getting him to about 35% crit), those three attacks trigger crits constantly. Early on the 3rd map, he is already bursting down enemies for a massive 30k damage per round!

My current lineup is Nobumasa, Jasmine, Laka, and Ami in the main party, with Vera in 5th and Vahn pushed back to 6th. It’s an incredibly fun way to play the game.

Quick question for those using Jasmine:
Since she is the definition of a glass cannon, I’ve been playing it safe and equipping her with the Hero Ring just to boost her survivability. However, I'm tempted to lean into her high damage. Do you guys think switching her over to the Sniper Scope is a better move, or is she just too fragile without the defensive stats?

You can also steal lustrous pearls from the siren-type enemies in the lake where you get Excalibur

I missed the mimic stick in the first part of the game, is there another weapon that gives those skills in the game? She is still great without them but having Laka all the time for all bosses to be able to steal stuff is very limited lol... great support character but kind of blah.....

Same here too... are you using windows too?

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to say how much fun I’ve been having with Blackmoon Prophecy Remake—it's been years since a Final Fantasy‑style game hooked me like this. Truly an amazing experience, so thank you for creating it.

I started back on version 1.09 and have updated with every patch. I’ve noticed I haven’t seen any new camp vendors besides the Ether vendor in the Magic Tower and Vahn’s mom after the world in his home town. I’m not sure if the Item and Relic vendors are supposed to appear automatically after certain dungeons, but they haven’t shown up for me yet.

I also noticed the Mimic Stick doesn’t appear in Cornelia’s basement—only regular chests. Could this be related to carrying my save across multiple versions?

Thanks again for such a great game.

I installed update 1.09 into the main game directory of my original 1.05 installation, but the launch screen still shows version 1.05. Is there something I’m missing?

Great game, by the way...... I wish there was monks too, Like Sabin/Zell/Yang etc. But the game is really great! Thank you
