Hello, I'm Claire the Game Dev. This is kinda both a LFP and LFS post simultaneously, but I guess it's closer to LFP. I'm a game dev who's been working on a project for 3+ years singlehandedly, well, for the most part. I had a ton of help from someone who's since ditched me for unknown reasons. But anyway, I wanna pay it forward.
I'm an intermediate at Unity and I really wanna help someone who's a beginner out.
If you're starting out with Unity but want/need someone to help guide you. Shoot me a DM on Discord: @clairethegamedev
Hello, not super sure if this is the right place for this topic, but I can't find a more suitable place for posting about this.
Anyways, hi! My name is Claire the Game Dev/SaltyClaire.
I've been working on a top down zombie wave shooter for about 2 years. You can check it out here.
But what I'm mainly after here is coming up with new enemy ideas because my ideas document has a section with "enemy names that sound like they'd make a cool enemy but don't have a concept yet"
So if you're bored and have some spare time and wanna brainstorm a bit, here's the list of enemy names:
"Perforator"
"Shrouded"
"Revenant"
"Scourge"
“Enigma”
“Harbinger”
“Carmine”
“Sanguine”
“Umbral”
“Maelstrom”
“Fissure”
“Quicksilver”
“Vindicator”
“Oroboros”
“Sentinel”
“Lunar”
“Eclipse”
“Hatchet”
“Thumper”
“Conjoined”
“Frostbite”
“Carnage”
“Blackberry”
“Poltergeist”
“Ravager”
“Firebug”
“Bulwark”
“Dreadnought”
You should also check out the document here (there's another section in the document that's for "enemy ideas that have both a name and concept" and we wouldn't wanna come up with enemy ideas that basically already exist, now would we)
I will say I do NOT want any stun mechanics in the game so just try not to come up with ideas involving that.
Thanks for your time!!
P.s I wrote this from my phone so there's probably most definitely some errors.
Please don't kill me Itch.io moderators if I broke a rule >~<
Hello, I've been working on a Unity game called Bio-Breaker for the past 2 years but I don't have anyone to talk about the finer details with.
All I want is someone to talk code and game design with.
Specifically a Unity game dev.
Also preferably someone who's in the CET time zone or around that zone.
My Discord is @clairethegamedev
(This is the first time I'm posting under LFS, so bare with me)
Heya, my name is Claire, and I'm looking for someone who can make SFX for my little passion project that I've been working on for a good few months now (though I didn't really work on it during summerbreak).
I've currently put in placeholders that're literally mostly just me making noises (._.")
I'd prefer working with someone who's not on the side of the planet, in other words, I'm mostly looking for someone who's time is CET.
Project
Like I said, my project is a top down wave shooter in pixel art. Progress is currently somewhere around pre-alpha. Here's the project's Itch page, it's currently unlisted because of the amount of placeholders. My game also has a Discord server.
Payment
In terms of payment, I currently don't know how much SFX can cost, but I hope they're not super expensive. Before anything is made, we need to clear up how payment is done. I'm not planning on making money off my game and I doubt anyone is interested in getting paid in exposure with such a small game. But either way, paid or not, I'll give credit.
If you're interested
If you're for some reason interested, you should probably check the game out before deciding if you wanna make SFX for it. Well you can tackle the SFXs you wanna, I can just find more people to do the others (hopefully).
