that gave me a good idea, thanks

I'm glad you liked it! Games like this are usually hard at first, but over time you get used to it!

The game itself is very interesting, I had a good laugh with the audios and dialogues, but it's way too cluttered, the rocks sometimes blend in with the scenery, making you die a lot from small things, and the ship dying in 1 hit makes it even harder, but I liked it, I would easily play this game for a considerable amount of time.

After scoring 100,000 points in this game, I can say it's definitely addictive, but it needs some visual polishing. Some things, like when grabbing the ice cream, the orb not giving a prior warning that it’s going to stop being blue, can be frustrating for the player. I’d suggest making it blink quickly 2 seconds before to alert the player, or adding a timer.

I just loved this game! It has a very nice aesthetic and good color choices. I discovered something: if you hold down Z and keep the mouse in the center of the screen, it spins in a loop and you become practically immortal while the bar is charged. Finding a way to make the game easier made me spend a lot of time on it.

The arrows appear to the rhythm of the music, being out of time to hit them is a way to balance the game and test reflexes. I set them to appear with the detection of the music beats.

That's why the confusing feeling, it's kind of the 'idea' to distract the player at the start, so they focus on clicking correctly.

They are triggered along with the beat detection, but for the player to hit them, they're not there, for balancing.

I did it this way to test reflexes when the game triggers a lot of keys at once

Thanks for the tips! I definitely plan to update the game and make it a complete project in the future. I really liked the idea I came up with to not use it for anything haha

Thanks! I believe that with some good polishing, the mechanics and the way the game works in practice will get better and more understandable, glad you liked the idea

I think I should improve the tutorial explanation then, I hope you liked it!

Hi everyone!

I'm currently opening simple commissions for 8-bit and 16-bit pixel art. I'm looking to support my work while helping other developers bring their projects to life with affordable assets.

What I can do for your project:

  • Icons & Items: Swords, potions, loot, and equipment.
  • Characters: Simple NPCs and sprites.
  • UI/HUD: Custom bars, frames, and card templates.

You can check my art style and previous work directly on my itch.io profile: [My game] [My arts]

About my rates: Since I'm just starting out with commissions, my prices are very accessible right now. I’m happy to negotiate based on your budget and the complexity of what you need. My goal is to grow as an artist while providing value to your game.

How to reach me: If you have an idea or need a specific asset, let's talk!

  • Discord: yt_mimiru
  • Or just leave a comment here!

Thanks for your support!

Hi everyone!

I'm a pixel artist currently developing an RPG (working on global buff/debuff systems and mana/stat balancing) and I've been releasing some asset packs on itch.io, like my recent [+20] Swords and [+350] Potions sets.

I want to create things that are actually useful for your projects. What kind of icons or templates are you struggling to find in a consistent style?

  • More equipment (shields, armor)?
  • Specific UI elements or card templates?
  • Crafting materials and loot?

Let me know what would help your game right now!

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for your feedback! So maybe a new balance would be good for the next game update, I'll make a note about it

Thanks for your feedback! I'll tell my programmer to fix this menu detail

These are some weapon models I made recently, I would like to receive some opinions to improve

I have started to do some projects on low poly 3D models, and I would like to ask what you normally look for first in assets for your game, having an idea of what the consumer is looking for will help me a lot in improving my models, making projects to help people to make your projects real

I have 2 questions for you

1- How much would you pay for a project asset?

2- What are the main things you look for first?

Thanks for letting me know!

I'll put a warning that you need to equip the fishing rod, I ended up forgetting about it, thanks for the comment!
