Good game idea, the growing mechanic is nice.

I found the obstacles sizes incoherent like how can you absorb a tree but not a rock, even if the rock is way smaller, but you get used to it after some time.
I wish you added some visual signals when the ice cream powerup or the thunder's effect ends.
Also, as you seen in DC (my 521600 highscore), adding more houses or obstacles at some point in the game would make the score more a matter of skill than time.

Apart of that, I really liked both powerups.

I feel like a lot of work was put in the sound design, it gives a very good atmosphere, and the SFXs make the game even more alive.

Good job !

Enjoyed this! Although there was a Fullscreen button, it still felt like the pixels is too small, or maybe the game is a bit to bare? but maybe that's just me. Gameplay wise, I really liked it especially with the lightning reversing your controls. I do have to say that there are indicators I wish was there, like for example a better indicator when a lightning is about to strike or when the ice cream powerup is about to disappear. Nonetheless, this was a good experience!

Cool game, the pixelart is great!

The only thing I didn't understand at first was the fact that I shouldn't touch any of the objects. I was pretty sure that people are "collectibles" and tried my best to get them... Only to realize that they break my snow ball. :)
But after one mistake I got it and learned. Reinforcement learning in action.

If it was stated that you should avoid everything - my bad, I clearly missed it.

Developer

You dont have to avoid everything, simply it goes based on your snowball size, so when u grow a bit u can start eating trees then rocks then the black snowman, that's how u get bigger and bigger, by absorbing the right things.

If u want pls retry it knowing this, you can also read the strategy in the game page description.
thanks for playing our game

Oooh, I see now! Gotcha-gotcha, tried it again, and now it's more fun, since I see crushing. x)
Thanks for the explanation!

Being honest, I saw a lot of text under the ".../strategy" and decided that I'd figure it on my own, since, I thought, I got the gameplay. So maybe - just a suggestion! - write the "How to play" part separately with the info about absorbing the same sized objects? x)

Anyway, as I said, cool game :)

Wow, this fun, I really tried not to collide with anything until ball got just DAMN HUGE and I realized that I can just smash poor obstacles (but did not understand why my ball was destroyed in some moment). Nice job!

Developer

Basically the house obstacle always hurts your ball, no matter how big it is, thats why your ball was destroyed at some point, its so the game doesnt become just a endless giant ball simulator

Really good game!

I really like the arcade-style of the game and also the audio. The gameplay is addicting, particularly the ice cream power-up

After scoring 100,000 points in this game, I can say it's definitely addictive, but it needs some visual polishing. Some things, like when grabbing the ice cream, the orb not giving a prior warning that it’s going to stop being blue, can be frustrating for the player. I’d suggest making it blink quickly 2 seconds before to alert the player, or adding a timer.

Yeah now that you make me think of it it could have been an easy addition, thanks for playing our game anyways!

a flashing indicator would've been nice or some sound effect
