Thank you very much for your feedback; I will look into the points you mentioned. Since this was my first game, i didn't put too much thought into the design; I just wanted to create something to serve as a starting point, which is why it turned out a bit simple and cliche. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and i will certainly take your suggestions into account for my future games!
Hi itch.io Support Team,
I published my game, Black Pines, about 20 days ago, but it still hasn't been indexed in the search results or the recent games list.
I sent an email to support regarding this issue a while ago but haven't received a response yet (for reference, my request code is: 402314). I understand the support team is very busy, but since it's been exactly 3 weeks, I wanted to open a topic here to see if my account or game got caught in a spam filter by mistake.
Here is the link to my game page: https://sithsal.itch.io/black-pines
Could you please take a look when you have a chance? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I have recently published my very first game on itch.io. The page layout is fully completed with a cover image, screenshots, and descriptions. However, it currently does not appear in the search results or browse section.
Since this is my first release, I believe my page might be caught in the manual review queue. Could a moderator please check and index it if everything looks correct? I would highly appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Black Pines is a first-person horror game with a PSX/VHS visual style. No weapons, no combat. Just a forest that gets darker the deeper you go, and something that has been waiting a long time for a visitor.
It starts at 3:17 AM. You drive out to a trailhead you shouldn't be at, and you keep walking anyway.
Playtime is around 15-20 minutes, start to finish. Fully playable in both English and Turkish.
This is my first commercial game attempt, made solo in Unity 6. I learned Blender during development to build the low-poly assets, and put together the creature audio myself. A few textures were AI-generated; level design, scenes, creature behaviour and atmosphere are all hand-made.
Free to download, Windows only for now. Feedback is very welcome, especially on pacing and whether the forest section drags.
