To avoid spoilers here, you can join the Discord server, where there's a section for guides. The quest is called “Apprentice,” and it explains step by step how to complete it.

f you get the quest to collect the ingredients Anne asks for, once you have them all and talk to her, she’ll invite you to stop by the tavern so she can make the recipe for you and let you try it.

If you go there without Rosette, you can find the scene when you leave the tavern, as long as you pay attention to what the NPCs outside are talking about.

If you didn't take Rosette to the experiment, the second scene takes place in the "Innocence" quest. When Stela is crouching—provided you've completed the first scene with her—she'll give you the option to do the second one.

It's a side quest in which Auri (cat) wants you to go somewhere; if you go to the forest, you'll find it.
