You reached the end of content for the current update, Haru gets his scene with the next one.

Truffle oil should be a craft from the barn once you got pigs (or from the greenhouse I think), however Rikka doesn't have dates currently so same as Haru, you don't really need to do her quests for now

No answer so far, apart from the evasive ones above, so I'm kind of stuck hoping moderators are kept in the  dark too and an admin could bring some kind of info at some point, but it seems unlikely. I'm currently forced to keep bringing updates in the dark with no guarantee that they'll ever be acknowledged, and the worst part is that I can't even tell WHEN to do it, because since I've gotten zero answer, there's a very real possibility that if I bring 0.3 less than a month after 0.2, it'll get ghosted automatically, despite 0.2 never having been pushed up in the first place.

You probably used a rare combination of tags to find my game, so it becomes visible simply because no  other games updated since use those, but I'm pretty sure it never got a boost in most recent after the initial release, I would've noticed the analytics.

Good luck to you though, your update's still fresh so it's up in the air whether it's gonna happen or not.

If I don't like what I make = failure.

If people it's targetted at don't like what I make = failure.

If I don't make enough money from it = failure.

That's three areas to improve on until I can assume a creative endeavor is a success. Personal pride, recognition, sustainability.

When it comes to these things, there's no need to overthink it. Soul-searching is all well and good, but agonizing to yourself in your own mind about whether you're sabotaging yourself or whether you can be satisfied with a less-than-perfect outcome doesn't really do anything for you. These aren't steps forwards, they're shower thoughts. Any time spent thinking that it's good to accept failure could've been spent trying to bring success to yourself instead. Whether you believe in yourself or not isn't necessarily relevant, what's relevant is whether you're getting closer to the goal, and talent or confidence are just ways to get there, much like hard work. Plenty of people who never believed in themselves found success, they simply kept working instead of brooding.

While work isn't a guarantee something will work, no work is a guarantee that it won't, so it's the one thing you should keep in check.

I feel like the best moment for doubt is at the very start of a project. Assess your skills, assess the available assets, look at the competition, think about whether what you have to bring is different enough (through sheer quality or originality), or whether doing this will help you in some way (like a training project, learning to create a new mechanic, etc), and then get to work.

But doubt is a poison after that. Once you decided to greenlight your own project you have to focus your energy into that and leave fears at the door. Even if you do reassess the situation from time to time, it should be quick, lucid, decisive, and consequential, not a way to get stuck in your own mind while slowing yourself down.

My bad. No BBC planned in the game. NTS is very unlikely too, the focus is on netorare/netori when it comes to this.

There is a character next update that might get close to what you expect with your minotaur idea, so check that out if you want. While it is an NTR character, his content is focused on Keiko, not Gobble.

It is unlikely for characters from the farm to engage with him as of now, I could consider giving them a completely optional scene with him but it would require significant demand from paid subscribers, that is not currently planned.

It'll probably be resolved through polls whenever it is time to  make the final call, as I currently have no idea what everyone's opinion on this is.

Clear Gobble date 3, then go speak to the statue below the farm. You'll unlock the blacksmith the following day

Yes, he doesn't have a third date yet, that's just for later updates.

Only Gobble currently has three dates

Sure thing, it's the footsteps right next to the cabin. Just interact and follow

I did, and it doesn't answer any question from this thread, it's just telling me to do what I'm already doing (promoting the game elsewhere) and not adressing the fact that the most recent isn't being updated on itch.io, nor the reason why.

The game I linked above has been released months ago too and is still at the top of most recent, so it can't have anything to do with launching date like the FAQ states, it's clearly about the devlog/major update combo instead. If launching date was the criterium  only recent games would show up there, not updated ones

As another example, this game released in 2025 ; https://crovdveil.itch.io/futadzen

Is currently in the top row in most recent adult games, so the FAQ has to be wrong somewhere, it's been pushed up one way or another

I tried to do some reading about how things are handled and it's purposefully obscure, so my hand is kind of forced in making a topic. I understand it's annoying but an automatic boost subject to set defined rules to put everyone on equal footing would probably fix these discussions.

- How long after a major update (an actual major update, more than a month from initial release, and with massive amounts of content) can I assume that ich.io is ignoring my game instead of waiting to put it to recent ? Is there a way to know if the manual review already happened, or what prompted the decision if it did and never got accepted ? Even knowing what prompts the refusal would be a massive step forward.

- I understand that ich.io is not supposed to do advertising for devs, and I'm not expecting it to do that, I'm doing what I can to bring some numbers from outside, however it also has a "most recent" option and it's a natural expectation to assume that the most recent updates should end up there at least, especially since some of them do, pushing others further down.

- It's also very apparent from advertising on other websites that itch.io brings the highest amount of attention to a new game by far, meaning that in order to bring traffic to itch.io from outside, one basically has to be pushed to recent by itch.io in the first place (which seems to be a coin flip) to kickstart the feedback loop of people noticing the game.  Meaning that even in order to do proper advertising elsewhere, becoming a beggar in these kinds of discussion threads is a necessary step.

/t/6592949/my-game-never-appeared-in-recent

I saw this fine gentleman going through the same rite of passage as I do, and I'm happy to see their game is now thriving in the most recent section while mine is still nowhere to be seen despite being updated around the same time, so I was wondering if maybe trying to create a thread had an effect.

Sorry for the annoyance, but obviously when what's at stake is either the absolute void of nothingness or having a chance to meet one's potential audience, people can't afford not to try, part of promoting a game everywhere is also to make sure it can be promoted (naturally through recency) on itch.

It also seems to me like making the boost random from a devs' perspective heavily encourages them to "game" the system, meaning release updates as fast as possible, with as few content as possible, since it's better to be ignored by the algorithm 2 times in 3 months and be picked up on the third, than to be ignored once after a 3-month delay for a big update, leading to 6 whole months of silence.

So it's a negative circle of "It seems my game won't reemerge from the algorithm depths when I put effort in an update, while some others will arbitrarily get boosted with devlogs boiling down to a single bugfix, so I can't afford making actual real updates if I want a chance to compete", which I'm pretty sure is exactly what itch.io is trying to avoid.

Thank you in advance for any information you could provide on this.

I can't really account for older saves compatibility currently, as some of the early content is modified between updates, but everything should work fine on a fresh save. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Are you playing on version 0.1 instead of 0.2 by any chance ? If not, are you playing 0.2 using a 0.1 save ?

No requirement other than to repair the kitchen stove. It should appear in the dish list, towards the bottom. Maybe you need to scroll down depending on your display

It's a dish you should be able to cook from the kitchen stove, you need to repair it first. Higher tier upgrades for tools are accessed once you recruited the blacksmith character. You need to clear Gobble's third date, then go interact with the statue south of the farm. You should meet everyone you need to meet the day following that.

Not much for now because there's only one scene using static, and  I don't like the static effect in it so it'll be changed next update anyway.

It removes the static censorship during camera events (NTR). It'll become more and more useful as more of these scenes come out, since you can toggle it to see two different versions of the scenes.

There's a lot more content coming as it's a first version, currently none of the second/third dates are in the game.

Hello, thanks for the kind review.

Yeah I just checked and the option to rewatch her pictures apparently doesn't erase the last one, so rewatching them and then refusing to go on the date never clears the picture. Massive mistake on my end.

Trying to pass out was a good idea and would've likely worked if anyone woke you up. If you still have the save, triggering any scene (for example, opening another bottle if you have one and accepting to go see her) should also erase the picture.

When you're talking about skippable cutscenes during sleep, you mean the events after fainting, right ? I made them unskippable since I assumed anyone going to 0 stamina would be trying to see them, so they're the "punition" for not going to sleep early. I'm gonna hold on  to that skipping idea and implement it if I see more people sharing the same sentiment.

Hello,

There is both and there's no android version planned (I wouldn't be able to playtest it with my current setup). I might try at some point, but that's not in my current priorities.

netorare can be skipped, cheating cannot. The main character has a girlfriend, so cheating is a given whenever he gets a scene. He also gets plenty of scenes with women in a relationship, so that's cheating too.

No, sorry. Best I can do is futa on femboy, might happen if a lot of people ask for it, but I don't have scenes planned currently

You can't, the option to upgrade all tools comes with the next version. You can only upgrade the fishing pole once currently.

Bugfixes. I'm not a programmer, that's why I picked RPGM, and unfortunately sometimes even with RPGM you need to delve in javascript. That's where AI comes in handy, it usually knows the correct command line for specific backend issues.

The title card in the banner is also AI-generated because I have zero photoshop skills. The "Sprouts of Sin" icon specifically. It's the only instance of visual AI in the game.

Thanks for checking it out, for the feedback, and thanks for the video !

Glad you enjoyed the dialogue, since that part usually gets skipped
