Thanks for letting me know! That's not one I ran into myself, I'll look into it (:

BEEEEP I love it! A good evil scientist is hard to come by these days. The eye kinda freaks me out, but this game is so fun! And such a creative idea, well done (:

Thank you for playing! Sorry about the readability, I think I changed the font out like 5 times in dev, with some more time post-jam I'll be considering some much-needed accessibility features (:

Thank you so much (:

I hope to come back to this one, patch it up, polish things. I'm glad you felt the chill! I don't know if I was just listening to it for so many hours, but I eventually got annoyed by the wind sound and it stopped feeling atmospheric to me haha.

Thanks a ton for playing and sharing your thoughts!

Took me a minute to figure out, but a cool game once played properly!

Overall: Wow, very well done. This game touches on some very introspective and personal things, thank you for making it. A little (okay, a lot) on the nose at times, but I get it's a jam game, I'm really glad to have played this (:

For having three colours, I think this is the first game of the jam I've played where it really didn't feel like only three. This artwork is so impressive! You've really done something cool here, and all the pieces are so well done too!

I'm so bad at brick breaker types! Still love them though, ever since the old blackberry one. Thanks for making this! Loved the artstyle you went for especially, and the card options system is a nice twist!

I hope you keep developing this! Has a lot of potential. At times, it can be frustrating instead of rewarding, but I understand it's a very tough line to walk in this gametype. Nice game!

This is really cool! I absolutely love the visual concept, how just a very small number of points is enough for the brain to say "yep, that's a full shape!".  Also really liked the contrast between wanting to scan more, and it (personally, at least) becoming harder to see the world as I did so.

Simple idea, beautifully executed. Nice game!

Well done! Investigates one of my favourite avenues of game design, the player's agency in ways they aren't used to.

Just plain fun! I really liked the physical puzzles nature, though wasn't very good at them. Nice game!

I'm really happy with how the shaders turned out, yeah. Thanks for playing (:

Thankyou! I'm glad someone thinks so, I spent the whole time really questioning that..

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you think so, I hope I get some more time in the coming weeks or months, I'd love to try and 'finish' it up (:

Gorgeous. 10/10 voice acting 10/10 gameplay 10/10 cukes 10/10 janky physics

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I'm really sorry about those UX issues, they're definitely a big problem. Basically, I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination. So these simple shapes and line arts took up almost all of the time I could dedicate to the jam. So if the UX feels 'haphazard' or 'slapped together' at all, it is!

I really enjoyed the experience, and getting a chance to work with such talented voice actors, so after the jam ends I'm thinking I should come back to this and polish it up some more.

I'm glad you enjoyed the experience. When I first heard the theme, my immediate thought was about anticipation. The thinking and the feeling that people might go through in the middle of any sort of countdown.

Thanks so much for playing, I look forward to trying out High Noon!

Thank you! Thank you so much! I'm off to play your game (:

Really creative take on the theme, and surprisingly addictive game loop! I mean I lost a few times, but I kept coming back! And losing again (:

Thank you so much! I was super nervous with this, never tried to make a visual novel before. It's sad because sad writing is easier to make dramatic! (For me, personally). Thanks for playing (:

Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm considering revisiting post-jam, and if I did I would try to add difficulty settings. Cheers!

Thanks so much for the feedback! Yeah I think this is maybe my second time ever doing level design, so I'm sure the difficulty isn't exactly good. Thanks for playing (:

Awesome! Very creative premise, wonderfully implemented, and a plain fun game to play. One note: Is there a way to play fullscreen? I'm not seeing a button for it

Awesome game! Creative idea and well executed, I do wish there was a way to put the browser build into fullscreen

Potential for a lot of cool levels

Nice little game! I won with just 40 seconds to spare, so I'd call that perfectly balanced!

Well done, polished, and fun clicker game

Nice little game. The controls are a bit janky, and the gameplay doesn't go anywhere after the first couple, but there's potential for a bigger game here that's quite fun.

Funny, cute, short, and fun! Kind-of reminds me of firefighting simulator games? Very neat, wish you could turn off the music in-game.

Fun, unqiue, and interesting! The one gripe I'd have is that the flags don't serve as checkpoints - getting set so far back on each death is a bit annoying. Great game tho!

Nice little speed game! I didn't realize at first that the items had prices, but hopefully nobody minds the spoiled 1-dollar bacon.

Very in depth! I love the soundtrack, and the world design. The mechanics take a bit of getting used to, even with the tutorial. For instance understanding the two dice and their differences. Very nice!

Got -3 accuracy, not cut out for this line of work!

Fun little game, a bit confusing to start but pick it up pretty quick. And I love the soundtrack!

Cool game! Took a bit of playing (and falling, and dying) to figure out the controls, but once I did, it's fun!

Thanks! I do think the difficulty could have used some tweaking, but alas not enough playtesting. Glad you enjoyed it (:

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I did an absurdly low amount of playtesting due to time, so I'm not surprised there are elements like the cluster labels that need some tweaks!
I'm not a musician at all but couldn't get a hold of one in time, so thus you've been subjected to the result, at least the music slider works xD

Hi all! We have recently published our small indie platformer House of Cards that was developed as a school project over the course of a semester.

Controls can be found in the options menu, and are also displayed through an interactive tutorial. The default font can for some be a little difficult to read, so the settings menu also has available alternatives to assist you in that event.

House of Cards spawned out of the idea of  straying away from the typical way players would interact with platforming, and so your default moveset is quite limited, to be enhanced by  cards.

The game is quite short, with only three levels, and is designed to serve as a sort of prototype in testing our skills. If you do have time to play it, please leave a comment or review!

Thanks!

~ Panik

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah some more polish would help for sure
