Cool concept. I honestly like text and ink effects. The text could be a bit larger and more readable, especially on smaller screen. Works great when maximized.

I released an update with your suggestions: https://straightforwardgames.itch.io/overripe/devlog/1725031/overripe-060-bigger...

Much smoother, I love it! The tutorial is great, I could follow it clearly, even made a lot of progress, >1k gold!

One more note: I'd be great if the timer reset after a shuffle. When I can't find a good option (and spend a second or two reading them) and shuffle I have fractions of a second left to pick the next one. As the shuffle gives you totally new options I still need a second or two to go through them.

Looks really well made! Totally not my type of game, but I know other people will love it. Upvoting for visibility.

Great concept! I love the "Vampire Survivors meets Pigeon Simulator" mix, 100% original take. I'd add a bit more "enemies" or thing that distract and derail you from your objective. And a cool soundtrack would make the experience even more wholesome.

I love that you included a tutorial in the beginning, most indie games just chuck you in the deep end. And I love the fast-paced strategy approach with the timer making you decide quickly.

One thing I'd change is that the tutorial is very "dense", lots of things introduced at once. I'd love if the game just introduced one or two mechanics, let me click on a few elements first and then paused to tell me what's gonna happen next, step by step.

Thing to check: on smaller screens (if I don't fullscreen on itch) the cards get stretch and get text get really small, but only when there's 4 rows, 3 look great. And fullscreen the graphics look amazing!

You managed to pull off both visibility AND support multiple languages as well. That's a rare achievement, especially for a pixel art font. Well done!

Thank you for the feedback @bemmma! Glad to know you liked the game!

The animations and effects are a bit strong. I'll be toning it down in the next release. In the meantime you can actually use the "Reduce motion" slider in the "Settings" to make the game less flashy.

Great job! The light mechanics and visuals are very well done. Seems slow paced at first, but you upgrade fast and keep inproving on every dive.

At first I was confused why I'me dying and why I don't have the mined ore with me. Managed to figure it out after a few death.

Fun story: I noticed your game on itch and just started playing it. Immediately got hooked. One hour in I remembered that I'm launching my own game today and have to start updating my page! Had to force myself to stop playing your game! :D

I'm done with my launch so I'm back to play a bit more. Thanks! <3

Thank you @onomogo! Tooltip feedback noted. I agree it might obscure the view a bit, especially on touch devices. I'll try to add a fix soon.
