I can vouch for Caxt as I have won both second place the first year, and first place last year, and was paid both years. :)

I'm excited to share that Last Seen Online is currently being expanded and remastered as ACTIVE NOW: Last Seen Online Remastered with new content, updated visuals, voice acting, additional routes, and more.
The original game will remain available as a free snapshot of where the project started. Thank you for helping this project grow beyond its game jam roots!
It's so funny how people are commenting on the length when I cut down the game in order to make it in time XD I swear my last two gamedev.tv jam games were just as long. I am so glad you enjoyed it even though its not your type of game. It seems I've got a lot of newcomers lately to visual novel games. Thank you for playing it! I do plan on adding more to it and giving it more depth in the relationship departments to really enhance the eerie feeling. Thanks again for playing!
hmmm thank you for the tips and feedback. What would have made it more natural sounding for you? LOL seeing how I wrote this inspired by true events. I tried to capture my own inner thinkings as they were back when I was in college granted that was over 20 years ago at this point. And you think it would have looked better without the screen coming up and down? hmmmm I'll have to try a version of that and see what my game testers think. Thank you again for your feedback
Ah, good point! In real life I did go into the store looking for a book on paganism so I guess I should have figured out a way to bring that into the story more clearly. And I will figure out a way not to be so repetitive -- would different descriptors have helped or more variations of the art in that case? What would have really captivated you more?
No, this is very helpful. Someone said the hollow conversation added to it, while you are another person who wanted more from the connection. I get it! It's very insightful to see how many people were left wanting more from the story. Makes me think about how I could possibly expand upon it. Thank you for your insight and feedback. It's very powerful and I will be taking it into consideration for sure! How would you have liked to see them connect further being that *spoilers* Eli wasn't supposed to be really Eli at all *spoilers*. Any help is always very much appreciated. :)
Ah I understand now! And yes, it's probably true. I know I felt the emotion but it's based on past events of my life so I never took that into consideration. It might make a good squeal or prequal idea!! I love that idea..... a series of Eli games.... hmmm now I may have to brainstorm but this gives me a lot of ideas. Thank you for your comments and insight. I really appreciate it! I really am glad you enjoyed the story where it was for the jam. :D
Thank you for playing through it and finding both endings! It's too bad you couldn't feel the emotional impacts but we are glad you liked the game! How would you have built the emotional punches better? I'm always looking for advice as I love to write games that are emotionally impactful. Thank you again for playing! :D
I love introducing folks to VNs and stories that grasp their attention when it's not really their thing. Love this kind of review! Thank you for playing the game and enjoying it. <3 And thank you about the art! I am a huge fan of art assets and promoting artists who are already out there and offering their work for reasonable prices. They're my jam (pun intended lol )
I've been practicing with Renpy for two years now so I'm glad you can see my improvement throughout the years/jams! I use a lot of game assets I find for the art and vibes and take a lot of time finding things that match well -- or at least try to. XD Thank you so much! I really had a personal connection with this one so I'm glad you found it enjoyable. :)
