I really liked the art, concept, and overall vibes! And playing with fire was fun lol. Finding the final color was a bit tricky but eventually I stumbled upon the item I needed. I'm curious if your kids were able to beat it?

I made it to the end! I appreciated that it wasn't too long. I really like the minimalist design and color palette, but thought a couple of the exits were hard to see. Some SFX could really add to the experience, too. Great animation, though, and I liked how the raven feels so heavy when they grab a key. Well done!

I'm not a cat person but you won me over! Short and sweet, the art is cool and I appreciated the positive ending. Well done!

I really liked the overall vibe! The music and graphics remind me of PS1/Saturn games. The visuals really suit the story/theme, too. I don't fully understand the purpose of the stamina mechanic, and I didn't use the powers of some of the later costumes (besides for unlocking in the main room), but overall this is an excellent game jam entry and a perfect implementation of the theme. Well done!

The bar has been raised. Who can break 400??

Who can break 300?🔫

Hey all,

I'm toadhjo, a musician looking to jam! I enjoy retro games and do a lot of composing work with Super Audio Cart and Chipsynth SFC, so if you're looking for that SNES sound I'm your guy. Famicom/MegaDrive/C64/etc. are also on the table, or we could eschew chiptune altogether. I'm flexible.

Here's a video with a few snippets of my work. Obviously, I did not work on these games, but the sounds are 100% my work.

If you want to work together, or hear more samples of my work first, hit me up here or on discord, username: toadhjo

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you! The directions specified that there needed to be a index.html if you upload a zip file, but didn't point out the same requirement for direct html uploads. Hence my confusion.

I just published it. Still have the same issue but you should be able to see it now.

I uploaded an HTML file of my TWINE game, and it's been stuck in this state for a number of days.

I see there are other topics about this issue but I couldn't find a way to resolve it myself. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What an enjoyable little gem! I posted a glowing review over at Bring Your Own Pixels.

Any plans to make a sequel or an expanded version?
