Sounds good, the game's bones are solid.
Another thing I would like to see (That isn't explicitly mandatory but would be nice) is move-order queueing for militaries. Once you get big enough you start having armies that are split between significant distances, and move-order queuing is a way to make it so that the tedium of checking your armies to make sure they're actually moving every turn cycle.

Either give an option to increase fade time on the message log, or make it so that repeat message logs (Specifically the ones that tell you "There is nothing to quick interact/attack here") don't flood when you use a particular input alot (Which you might when you're looting an area quickly)
Not sure if Godot can flag messages then check if that flagged message has finished being presented in the log, or if there's any possiblity of lockout timers on specific messages (Just the ones for the quick loot/quick attack, tbh), but if there is that'd be the way I'd go.

Seconding "Inability to shift leftward without already being left"-

Additionally, it feels like the industrialization snowball is particularly effective in low-industrial environs. I started in the WWI timeline as Brazil and beelined for industry. I didn't experience large nations trying to go after me, so maybe it is different in a smaller country that can't muster the same amount of manpower, but I definitely think there's something to be said about industrialization being too cheap for the amount of snowbally power it gives. I'd suggest using an exponential curved cost on industrialization to make smaller, already industrialized countries more meaningful (As well as adjusting the pace of the AI acquiring upgrades/initial amount of industrial provinces)

Getting to 10 should feel like a feat. As is I got to 10 and immediately put almost all of my home provinces to 10 industrialization, which then completely trivialized the economy

If you need a proofreader to help smooth out your work, I'd love to help out.

I'm not one to leave comments on games, it's just not something I do very often. Not many things really touch me. This one does. I love the characters, I love the amount of real feeling of decision I have. I'm currently romancing Rozerin and the absolutely adorable scenes make me want to go and see all of the other wonderful routes, honestly.

Another thing that I want to say feels very interesting. I've struggled alot with how to deal with identity, how to handle identity of other people, and how that all works in regards to just dealing with people. The way that your characters introduce themselves "I go by 's/he/they' feels both natural and flows well. It's something that has actually changed my perspective on identity, in a way, or at least changed my relationship with others' identites. I love your work, I hope you continue working on it, and I'm very, very happy to play through the game until it's finished.

I'll definitely be playing the other routes when I get time to do so. Your writing is touching, amazing, and lovely. Thank oyu, very much, for making this. I quite enjoy it.
