I saw you were working to expand this and my mouth started frothing violently, Absolutely amazing lil game and I can't wait to see more!

Absolute cinema?! And it is wild that no one else has gone through and rated this yet, Excellent job!

If I could hold ctrl to skip text between battles, this would be pretty much perfect.

Great and charming game, only issue I had for the Graphics, which are otherwise solid, is that they are very hard to see whilst playing the game due to tunnel vision.

Really well polished, so much charm, absolutely loved it!

Ditto to MrTech, I loved the game, only other grievance I could afford is the upgrade descriptions are a bit unclear due to their size.

A charming and quirky lil guy in a big scene... which is part of the problem, as a collectathon the gameplay is smooth and the graphics are good, but.... the level design is off. With a new level, and some polish to finish up the animations, it would be really solid, and the Soul and Sound is already there.

A charming little game, I genuinely cried out when I saw the lil guy dead on the floor. Only real gripe I had whilst playing was the lack of sound effects which is entirely understandable for the length of time you had. Keep it up!

Overall, this game is very jank for a concept that is fairly simple. The collision boxes around the player are too large, and some gameplay aspects feel unfair and unintuitive.

That being said, the game is a finished product and that alone is praiseworthy, alongside the music choice that, whilst a bit inconsistent with the art style, does match up well with the setting the game insists upon.

Overall the game was Amazing Graphically without being unnecessarily complex, and the Soul of the game is very gameboy.

BUT, the game is very complicated to play for what it is, I don't think you should *have* to read the description to find out a core mechanic like gap hopping. and there is one bug that in effect deletes a gem you're playing with. All alongside being too fast from the onset with the sheer quantity of gems you have to work with.
There is the basis of something really strong here, and as I said it is graphically impressive, but it would need a lot more time in the oven.

Thanks for the positive words!
As for the bug with the first-second screen, is it to the effect of having you on the second screen whilst your character is in the first? if so that Is a bug I had thought I had solved, so I shall have to give that *another* once over.

As for the double jump leeway, as below, that is a common issue, I don't have a great fix for it right now, but will likely have one sorted either just before the deadline, or shortly after.

Hi thanks for the input! Could you elaborate what you mean on the jumps? Do you mean that there’s not enough margin for error in relation to a normal jump v a double jump or sth else?

Absolute Gem of a game, no Bugs (that I encountered), clean art, great soundtrack and satisfying sound effects! Honestly feels like the type of game I'd be tapping around at for hours as a kid and remember fondly.
