This is like a book, not a game. Or I don't get it, sorry.

Hey, just found the issue, +- buttons next to the Full button doesn't work. The toaster message at the bottom disappeared too fast. The user doesn't have enough time to read what happened.

Bussines account

NEXT RENT$30

UTILITIES$16

LOAN BALANCE$0

CREDIT LIMIT$300

white numbers on the white tiles are not readable. Text shadow help, but not enough.

Similar issue on Account activity. The text on transparent background is not readable.

Maybe a couple of more hints would be helpful, for example if I'm out of cash. How to boost it.

Overall I like the design. If you have only the mobile view, I'd consider to extend it at least for tablets.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Appreciate it.

Regarding the online mode, That’s my next step, you can also follow me for more similar updates like that thx for telling me I’ll add that for sure…

Hey, thank you so much for the detailed feedback. I’ll definitely check your game once I return from my vacation!

Hi! I released Dot Siege a few days ago — a turn-based territory strategy game inspired by the classic pen-and-paper Dots.

I’m mainly trying to understand:

  • Is the capture mechanic clear without instructions?
  • Which AI difficulty feels best?
  • Did you want to play another match?
  • Would you like to play online?

A match takes only a few minutes. Any feedback would be really helpful.

The bug is fixed! Just tested.

Thanks. Will do!

Can you test my game, please ? It called "dot-siege". I'd really appreciate it if you leave a feedback. Is everything clear? Is it difficult to play?

Hey man, you have errors in the console and the game stuck after first click on my end.

Dot Siege is a turn-based territory game built on the pen-and-paper game a lot of people played in the margins of a school notebook - Dots, or Kropki. You place one dot per turn on a free crossing. Your dots join up horizontally, vertically and diagonally, and the moment a chain of yours closes around enemy dots, you take them. The one deliberate change from the paper game is the one in the title. On paper the edge of the sheet is nothing - a dot on the border can never be surrounded, because there is no wall there to use. Here the board edge counts as one side of a siege, so border dots die like any other and the corners are the sharpest ground on the map.

The other rule worth knowing before you start: your score is the enemy dots you are holding right now, not the ones you have ever taken. Surround someone else's siege and the dots they trapped come back to life - and their score goes down. Scores fall in this game, and it surprises everybody the first time.

Hello! I've just launched my first game on itch - Dot Siege, a turn-based territory game that plays in the browser. It's the pen-and-paper game a lot of us played in the margins of a school.
Free, no account, nothing loaded while you play. Three AI levels, or two players on one device.

It's an early playtest, and the thing I'd most like to know: does  Normal feel fair, and does Hard feel hard? The bot searches and builds sieges rather than waiting for you to walk into one - but so far I've only ever tested it against myself.

Pretty cool!
