Yo, I checked out the game again! First of all, thanks for adding the Windows build, I definitely prefer playing it native rather than in the browser. After spending some time with it, here is a bit of feedback for you:

  • Version Mismatch: The devlog and the .exe name say v1.3, but inside the main menu of the Windows application, it still shows v1.2

  • Fullscreen: It would be great if you could add a proper fullscreen mode toggling option.
  • Promo Code UI: After entering a skin promo code, a success message appears directly inside the input field. If you want to enter another code, you have to manually delete that message first. It's not critical, but just so you know. You could either update the placeholderText instead of the actual input text, or simply display a separate Label for the success message.

  • Maps: I ran into some new maps that I hadn't seen before, like the desert and the other forest. They add some really good variety to the game.

Keep it up!

Played your game! Just like you wrote in the description, it's nothing crazy, but it's a neat little time-killer. The music and sound effects are super cozy in both normal and endless modes. Endless mode is actually way more fun, and the burnt forest map looks cool! Just a heads-up: on the standard map in endless mode, some fruits hide inside the tree crowns so they're hard to find - tweaking the layer order (Z-index) might help if that wasn't intentional. Also noticed the UI moves with the player - making it static would look a bit cleaner, but maybe it's your idea make UI dynamic. Overall, a solid start for learning Godot and making the switch from Love2D. Good luck with future updates

First of all - your art style is fucking awesome. The trailer, the instructions, the TV show - it all looks very good. The overall atmosphere of the game is great too. The only bad thing is that the game is so short, but I totally like it

(1 edit)

The style looks good, but please could you make the text brighter - it's hard to read. Also, when typing a comment, I can't see what I'm writing

A project I’m currently developing: Immortals And Heroes: Online. It is a hardcore player-driven sandbox MMORPG designed around real risks, full-loot mechanics, and persistent world changes.

Features:

  • Full Loot & High Stakes: Lose your loot upon death if it isn't safely stored behind city walls.
  • Guild Conquests: Player guilds can attack cities, overthrow rulers, and reshape the power balance.
  • Player-Driven Economy: Deep crafting, trading, and resource gathering.
  • No Hand-Holding: Pure sandbox freedom - pursue wealth, conquer territories, or hunt other players.

The game is in active development. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the concept and connect with players interested in hardcore sandbox design.
