BOING!!! Love the sound effects through might need a bit of trimming so it makes the sound right when you jump.

Awesome love the juice and the telegraphing to the player. Love the multiple characters and the way you have given them different abilities!

I seem to be unable to get it to work, might need to double check your upload. A quick fix might be to select the option for "Click to launch in Fullscreen" in itch, so that we can see the whole menu.

Love the change in controls when you enter the water. I managed to collect three bananas, did I win?

Awesome use of shaders with the background but I didn't seem to be able to win it.

This game is awesome! Love the combining of ingredients, love the litte flash and bounce when something doesn't work. One thing I am not a huge fan of is the time scale. So much time at the start of each day to mess around in of itself is boring waiting around and the dinner service is too fast to actually go searching for new stuff. Do you need new days or would just a line of people work just as well?

Good solid base but I think this would work much better as an autoshooter. Maybe when you pick up more of the drops when you are at full health it increases the amount of bullets that you fire?

Solid level design! With a player model and an evil spooky ghost enemy it will be sweet. I didn't particularly like the one touch death of picking up a expired peartos. Maybe 3 lives? Or maybe the expired one gives you a speed debuff or partial blindness or something. UI looks solid.

Nice art style.  I'm not sure about the basic functionality of the game play. The pathfinding of the patron also seemed to be solid. One seemed to wait for me when I got it it's way

Love the book animation, the ambiance, and the strange alien waiter. Not sure if the book is rendering correctly as there seemed to be a lot of double ups in the pages. Also I wasn't sure how to close the Xenobiological Ingredients Compendium (XIC) once its open.

There are some cool systems here but I'm not really sure what I should be doing. Am I surposed to be running down the vegetables with my truck? That could be an awesome game but I would disable the veges collider when you hit them so you can properly drive the truck over them. If you are using Godot you could just have the veges as a Area2D with no physics collider. Also the veges are far too fast to make an enjoyable number go up game. Great work on the upgrade systems I know how hard those are to implement.

Love the animations! real nice. Should add like a down slash for when you attack in the air. I would also like some health bars above the enemies so I have an idea of how many times I need to attack them. Great PS1 aesthetic at the moment.

You should go and look at custom_data_layers in tilemaps. This will let you slow down your car when they are on dirt. Also as was suggested by others some collisions and a bit more time on the level design would be valuable.

Cool original idea.

I think it needs to be better telegraphed and communicated to the player what is going on. Maybe like a speed bar that increases and turns red when you are going too fast. Warning signs below for a like a second warning about what is below.

Once this is in this will be an awesome game

Getting swarmed by enemies when I am trying to read the instructions in game was annoying.

Not sure what the final goal is supposed to be.

Good controls, and aesthetic is really nice!

Looking really good. I was a bit confused about the chips on the table though cause it did not line up with how much money I had.

Eggs in burgers please.

Are you planning on having a dictionary of all the cards that fuse together?

I actually really like the jumping animation. You might want to consider putting some tweening in between the up and down animation rather than the spilt second shift. Go and have a look at the animation player and changing the rotation based on the state.

Awesome game! Love the concept and exicultion.

A few tweaks that would make this game so much better:

  • Slow down the rotation. I'm getting motion sick.
  • Get a random rotation on the ingredients when they spawn so they are not all the same roation
  • Might want to consider slowing down the toppings in the earlier levels, it took me four attempts to pass the first level. Remember when you are balancing something that you have played this game more than anyone else. You are likely the best player in the world.

Those buttons are so satifying!

But am I missing something it seems I am stuck at the bottom of a hole with a locked rubber duck door?

Cool concept and looks good and love the split screen.

I think you need a few more spawn locations as it is very easy to spawncamp your opponent.

The gravity might be a little high I think with these kind of games being a bit floatier is beneficial.

One small tweak to the code should mean that the sprites wont snap to the left when you stop.

I wasn't so sure about the dash at first but actually it feels really nice!

You may want to have a second look at the parallax backgrounds as they seem to be a bit detached when your climbing the hill in the second level.

Please add WASD for controls this will mean that the mouse and keyboard controls make more sense. Level design is solid but need to add flipping the sprite when you go left.

Awesome start really excited to play the full game. I think you should investigate adding cake golf physics.  The tray tipping around the player is a bit weird. I'm a bit torn as to if the tray should flip when the character model goes to the left or not.

What a banger music track, You should use an Autoload so the music will follow you into the main game!  When your underwater you should lower the gravity to give it a more underwater vibe and maybe an infinite jump so you can swim up to the top again.

This game is really pretty! It needs some UI tweaks but looking solid.

Needs more minor parties. Also Chris floating is peak gameplay!

May we fight over who has the best Peggle clone! Mine actually has a 3rd dimension!

I really hope the game has your handdrawn aesthetic like your thumbnail!

Rotating the character is wild I kinda like it. I have done a animation style that might fit before so the character move kinda like a popsicle stick puppet kinda like this

This is awesome! I love the meatballs! You may want to consider looking at softbodies so that they have an appropriate squish. https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset/1621

What is the grappling hook going to do? I like the way the burger telegraphs its attacks.

I think the game needs a speed bar that indicates how fast you are going and what is a safe speed cause at the moment its just guesswork. Love the concept!

The coins are awesome! I love how they are animated and throwing them in a pile is so satisfying!

I think the mouse sensitivity needs to be increased as I seem unable to turn more than a 90 degree arc. I like the gun animation!

Successfully collected food. All the castles having the fields in the same place I wasn't sure if I was looking at different castles or the map looped around. Good job putting together a nice drag and drop inventory.

Why do the crabs want soda?

Awesome quick little game!

What are all the gray boxes flying all over the screen?
