It is "failure is progress" in the way that every time you launch you will collect items like the fish that apply to the penguin the next time you launch so that the next time the stats of the penguin are higher and you can reach a higher distance.

I am definitely not the target audience, so I can't really say anything about the gameplay without going somewhere that wouldn't be helpful and I can't say I was enjoying myself much, but it had its moments.

So if you do make a game with alot of UI make sure you can read everything easily and if you concentrate on narrative then make sure that you check spelling and grammar.

Besides that it was an okay experience and sadly nothing for me.

I find this game to be very funny and the artstyle being spot on adds so much.

However that you have to read the text, while the timer is running out is a major problem, especially if you are dyslexic (Legastheniker), I think that is a easy fix, you just make a time stop until you press a button after having read the text and then you can interact with the buttons for the outfit and the timer is running. I think that would help a lot and it would help everyone, because even if you are not dyslexic if you can't read fast you are also at a disadvantage.

Besides that a minor problem would be that the music restarts everytime and doesn't start until you are a few seconds into the whole process of picking clothes.

I think this is a very unique take on 3D platformers and I like that, however I don't know why but I get acrophobia (fear of hights) in this game and I am afraid of hights but this is a first for me that this fear also exists in a game, so this was also a horror game for me. I don't know if that was intended or if this is a coincidence, but do whatever you want with this information.

Besides that I also got a bit scared of jumping in this game, because it is a jump into the unknown and I don't get the feeling that that is what you had in mind for the game, especially with how you designed some of the jumps and how little usage of the checkpoints there is and with a timer to remind me that I am slow and a more action filled classical musical piece.

This game idea is spot on for the theme of this GameJam and I whish, almost prayed, that I would be able to complete the first jump.

But alas I wasn't able to do the first jump which is beyond just a tragedy, I am not sure but from my gameplay experience the first press gives off more energy than the second one, which does confuse me because I have an expectation for the jump and then its like maybe 10% of the power of the first press and the range of the second press is also far smaller than that of the first or am I wrong?

I struggled for a bit before I gave up and wrote this comment and rated this game, so don't worry and I did see that it is possible to make that jump, I just don't have a clue how, but what I talked about was only one tiny problem and that I have nothing else to complain about says alot about this game, in my opinion.

I like alot that you took the time to make proper settings in which you even hear the music and how much the sliders change the volume and at this moment that i write this comment it is the first game I have seen do that. And this game has alot of other positive things which make me very happy but I don't think you want to read how much I love everything so I will just say, applause to you and you should be proud to have been able to do all that in the time we had.

I like this game, I find this game fun and I find the artstyle very fitting, but in the main menu there are no settings, that are controls, it is a minor detail but I find it very crucial, because if you say you have settings and I want to change something in those and then see that are the controls I am unhappy and I kind of feel lied to (this is probably a bit to strong worded but I think you get what I mean).

Besides that at the start of the level you can hold just D and you will have no problems at all, at some point I have no idea how to progress, because I either miss the feather and die or I hit the feather and die by smashing my head against a platform. I think it would be very helpful in that situation if the camera would be more zoomed out so I can prepare better for that part.

I like the idea very much, a tower defense game, where you are the tower mixed with bullet hell, but alot of things are missing, sadly.

I don't have to say that not all art assets are in the game, the player doesn't know against who he is defending his own coins(?) and it isn't very clear what kind of an attack the player has equiped and it isn't 100% clear with every attack what effects it has on enemies, I had trouble with understanding when I can attack and when I am reloading, what range my different attacks have and how much damage I have to deal to the enemies until they die.

Another thing that I found hard was combining the different attacks, especially when I don't know what attack comes next, I think you could improve this by giving the player a second attack, like if I press right click I have my attack 1 and if I press left click I have my attack 2.

And besides that I could never move on to wave 4, I don't know why, the enemies never spawned in wave 3.

And if this this sounds very harsh I am sorry, I don't mean to let you feel bad, I just see alot of potential in this idea and I would be happy to see this game improved in an update.

I find the message of the game strong, especially for a Jam game and I like that you made a game to spread awareness of bomb fishing.

I also very like that the artstyle is so innocent while the gameplay, if translated to reality, is very dark. The music supports the art direction, which I very like.

All in all a very strong game, especially for the time limit of the Jam.

I find it an interesting idea to make a racing game where you control the vehicle with only your mouse and your speed cannot increase, only decrease.

However the game had a problem with detecting my mouse movement at every beginning of a round and I am not sure if that is a me problem or a general problem, but it made the experience worse, especially when the whole movement is based on it, so I would be delighted to hear the reason why this is a case and if it is something you have to fix or I.

But besides that I had fun!
