This is so far turning out to be a pretty fun game! I’m really enjoying the look of the UI, and seeing my little plant grow bigger and unlock more ways to grow is pretty satisfying. I do wish there was a little bit more to do in the game besides just waiting. Maybe some kind of random event could happen that requires more uses for our resources? (Bug infestation, weather catastrophes, etc.). Either way, this is looking good! Would love to see some music and sfx added in the future.

The art style and music are really cute, and the UI and animations make the game quite enjoyable! It’s fun seeing how things change with the different varieties of choices that can be made. I do agree with the other comments that I wished there would be more descriptions and text explaining the events that happen. I ended up just focusing more on guessing the pattern, rather than trying to figure out the relationship between each element was.
I honestly really adore this game, it’s probably one of my favorites in the jam so far. The music, the art, the UI, the atmosphere, and the awesome intro animation are all just so peak.I really enjoyed the character interactions too, they felt very reminiscent of MGS. i hope you guys keep the operator PNG, because seeing him honestly made me laugh lol. I did have a bit of trouble figuring out how to open the door, and I think some of the dialogue might be a bit too wordy at times, but other than that I am loving how this looks so far! Excited to see the final product.
I am really enjoying the atmosphere of the game! The characters are very charming to talk to, and the bits of lore I gathered from reading seemed really intriguing (Seeing the empty bed made me feel so sad!) The art and music were both really well done as well!
I do wish there was a tutorial of sorts that could teach the player what keybinds do what, since I had trouble figuring out some of the features that the game had to offer. Why is there a way to speed up the timer? How do I equip the tools? Where are the grains of sand I should be gathering? There was also a part of the map that I accidentally entered into that seemed to be a bit broken/missing collisions. When I entered it, I had no way of getting back out
I think the game is headed in a very promising direction, and I am so far really enjoying the story. But I think some of the gameplay elements just need to be polished up.
This is such an adorable game, I especially love the artwork/style that you guys chose! The flower petal menu is super cute as well. I think the only thing is that there might be a little too much gliding with the movement controls, which makes it a little difficult move precisely. But otherwise this is turning out really awesome, and I'm excited to see the final result!
A god-sim card game sounds super interesting to me! I think it would be really fun to design how the different cards play off of each other just like irl ecological relationships that happen out in the world! I saw that there was also mention of data-centers and oil rigs in one of the descriptions. How are you guys plan to implement that in a medieval style world? Would the player need to worry about both natural and man-made climate issues? Really curious to see how this game turns out!
I rlly like that your story revolves around corporations building data centers, since that's a current issue a lot of people are facing in their communities right now! The call-to-action being centered around community building is also really nice and fits into the theme of the jam well.
The prototype image looks very adorable too! I'm wondering if all of the characters in the story are animals? Is the story similar to the "Hoppers", where the cast is mostly animal characters trying to fight against humans, or do they live in a separate animal universe where humans don't exist? Excited for how this is going to turn out!
The setting of a war-stricken landscape is so interesting to play with, especially in the context of climate-jam/enviornmental issues! Would you guys be referencing any specific real life examples/locations? Or would it be more in the realm of fiction? What would be the time-period that your game is set in (Like how Fallout has a lot of 1960s imagery and aesthetics). I think one of the images in the moodboard is also from the game Pathologic (Amazing game btw!), which is set in a fictional Russian post ww1 landscape. The gloomy industrial vibe can absolutely be felt during the gameplay, and that really helps to set the tone of the narrative. Really excited to see where this game goes!
The tone and art direction of the game sounds so fun! I really enjoy the idea that the game sets place in a museum setting after an ecological collapse has already happened. There could be so many cool themes to play with narratively. Similar to the other comments, I am also a bit worried about the scope of the game. Visuals become very important to establish when it comes to walking sims, and since 3D is what you guys seem to be leaning towards for inspiration that may eat up a majority of the time! Otherwise, this concept sounds amazing and I would love to see how it turns out!
This sounds like a really awesome game idea (And I could also totally see this working as a catan-esc board game too). I am mainly wondering how the player will accumulate funds to buy the various campus upgrades, since you mentioned there being a cost to obtaining them. I thing using little cat blobs to showcase the population is also super adorable too! Would love to see how your team is planning to add other fantasy elements into the game!
I think the lore of your game is really awesome and could be such a fun thing to explore! The setting of the game being an apocalyptic landscape barren of life is an awesome premise. I'm curious if you guys are planning on using different types of plants for the gameplay? Perhaps each level is a different area of the planet, and will therefore require the robot to use different types of plants! But otherwise, I think this is an awesome game idea! The concept that tech can be developed to be both good and bad is such a fun contrast within the story. ^^
