Hey, I'm Jon! I'm an illustrator and 3D artist based out of New York and I'm looking to work on more projects to help build up my portfolio (and not starve).

Here are some examples of what I'm capable of:

2D Work

3D Work

    Pricing

    For One-Off Tasks

You can find general commission info here >>

However since every project is different, we will need to discuss details to arrive to a final quote, especially regarding commercial use.

    For Ongoing Projects

For core, long-term development on new projects I'm only considering salaried/hourly compensation.

For projects deeper in development; I'm open to milestone-based compensation, or a hybrid arrangement balancing payments at fixed intervals with a revenue share.

Only considering pure REVSHARE opportunities from teams that have shipped at least one completed project.

    Requirements:

β€’ Playable build must exist before contacting me.

β€’ Project scope must be locked (no major feature additions or large-scale reworks planned).

β€’ Evidence of consistent development progress from all major team members via devlogs or meeting your team.

β€’ Clear revenue-sharing terms and team responsibilities.

Revenue-share must be a contract based on a defined task list rather than time worked. Any additional work requires a separate agreement for either upfront payment or additional revenue share.

    Please Contact Me If

    • You've published a game previously on Itch or Steam, with a portfolio of past work
    • You're in active development at a steady pace
    • You already have a team mostly assembled ready to work (and all team members are active, NOT volunteers that tweak a line of code every few months!)

    Bonus Points If

    • You have a prototype (graybox and placeholders are fine)
    • Your game is already released or releasing within 6 months
    • You have an existing audience for your self/project/team
    • You have more than one active programmer

    Do Not Contact Me If

    • You're looking for unpaid work/game jams
    • If you have any AI generated content in your project, especially art. I can't trust you won't run my stuff through AI generators.

Are you open to game jams?

Sorry I can only afford paid opportunities at the moment

I'm now available again for a new project!

Impressive portfolio you have. Love your work. Just had a question about your 3D skillsets; can you Rig Humanoid/Humanoid creatures?

    (+1)

Thank you! 3D is my secondary skill set but I have been learning to rig and animate more and more for my personal projects, so depending on your project’s style/scope I might be able to help.

    I emailed you just now.

Hello, Jon. I'm here looking for an artist for a cyberpunk 1920s theme metroidvania/hackNslash. I saw your post here and your portfolio, and our team would like to talk with you if you are interested.

This is our project, we are a small team, but I am certain we will release this game. The team is based in Sweden, and work would be rev share ensured by contract as this is our first game and we don't have the money for a paid up front opportunity.

Hey Zevon, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately I can't commit 8-12 months on a revshare project with my financial situation right now, but I'd be interested in working on any promo art you need once you launch if you're interested in commissioning then.

Of course. I understand the constraints.
