Hi everyone!
I've been building MiniCity, an isometric city-building game for Android, and I'm at the last gate before release: Google Play requires 12 testers opted in for 14 consecutive days before a new personal developer account can publish.
I'd really appreciate your help — and I'll gladly test your app/game back the same day.
WHAT IT IS
A pocket-sized SimCity. Lay roads, zone residential/commercial/industrial districts, and watch citizens move in, build, and grow. Small village → megalopolis.
- Roads, rail, subway, bus lines, harbors, airports
- Power plants and water treatment (run short and you pay a premium for imports)
- Land value system: riverfronts, parks and landmarks raise property value; factories and rail lower it
- District specialization: high-tech, heavy industry, farming, offices, tourism — each with its own buildings
- Buildings evolve into 2x2 mega blocks, 4x4 giga towers and megalopolis complexes
- Four seasons, rain/snow/fog, city lights at night
- Rare tornadoes, earthquakes, floods
- 7 scenarios, 19 achievements
- Completely free. No ads, no IAP, fully offline.
HOW TO JOIN (2 steps, ~1 minute)
1. Join this Google Group with the SAME Google account you use on your phone:
https://groups.google.com/g/minicity-test
2. Then open this link on your Android device and tap "Become a tester":
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.aaronkyung.minicity
Please keep it installed for 14 days — that's all Google needs. Playing it is optional (but I hope you enjoy it!).
NOTE ON LANGUAGE
The UI is currently in Korean. It's heavily icon/emoji-based so it's playable without reading, but an English version is in the works. If you try it and get lost anywhere, I'd love to hear where — there's a "send feedback" button right in the game.
RECIPROCITY
Drop your testing link in a reply and I'll join yours today. I'm happy to leave detailed feedback, not just install-and-forget.
Thanks so much!
