Looking for a new coder for my project, "Decrepit Desires" we use Ren'py but Im open to other programs if thats easier because the game has a lot of minigame mechanics, my previous coder already did a lot for shift 1 which will be releasing as the first half of the demo. This will be a longterm project so please understand what you are signing up for! I work well with people who are communicative and talkative, I try to be very friendly and give clear details of what I want! You will be given access to a drive with all of the game assets on it and you can work from there.

Feel free to reach out if you're interested, it is a yandere VN so I understand the themes may not be for everyone but this is a game I'm very passionate about and I plan to do many projects in the future so I want to build a team that is able to stay consistent and productive, however I am very understanding when things come up!

 Types of Minigame/Mechanics:

 Drag and drop

Point and click segments

Checkout job sim esque mini game

Character customization Clean up minigames

Just a lot of interactive and fun stuff! :)

Budget: $50 per shift, this is semi neogotiable, I am an indie dev so I dont have too much! (There is 5 shifts per chapter and we will be releasing this game per chapter after the full demo drops)

Hey, I’m interested! I’ll leave my Discord here so we can talk.

Hello, I am interested. My Discord: exoudar.
My engine is Game Maker 2. It can do both the visual novel as well as the mini games.

Hey! I'm interested in learning a bit more about the project. I wanted to ask, since the previous coder has already done a good amount of work on Shift 1, would the new programmer be continuing from the existing code and project files?

Also, do you already have the mechanics and tasks planned out for each shift, or would the programmer be involved in figuring out and implementing those as well?

And roughly how many chapters are you planning for the game overall?

Btw here's my discord

Hi, I'm Vess, a student developer. I can help with the Ren'Py minigames — drag-and-drop, point-and-click, the checkout job-sim, character customisation and clean-up. The $50 per shift rate works for me. Which shift is next, and is there existing code to continue from?
