How does the game fit the theme?
The game's theme is reinforced by a sense of distrust toward the speaker.

the game experience was top notch , and this game aligns with the concept soo properly good one man i like the narration though
fun to play
great work :)))
pretty solid experience!
Mixing Portal puzzles with a unreliable Stanley Parable-style narrator fits the "Don't Trust" theme incredibly well! The overall atmosphere, clean 3D art, and solid voice acting give this entry huge commercial potential for something built in just one week. Pulling off a fully voiced, narrative-driven puzzle game right down to the wire is an awesome achievement.
A few tweaks to consider for a post-jam patch:
- Lighting & Platform Visibility: Add subtle rim lighting, emissive indicators, or environmental lamps during the dark platforming section so players don't have to make blind jumps.
- UI Crosshair & Camera Bounds: Add a simple center crosshair dot to make aiming and puzzle interaction feel precise, and fix the spawn camera collision near the end so it doesn't clip out of bounds.
- Shooting Stage Polish: Smooth out the transitions and physics right after the gun level to keep the momentum going through the final stretch.
Seriously impressive scope, fantastic voice work, and top-notch atmosphere! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback and rating on my solo jam entry as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
Wow, thx for so much feedback! We will take all mistakes into account and strive to improve our games in the future. Good luck with the jam!
Very nice game, I love narrated games, and this was no exception. The visuals look great :)
Thx for feedback
I love the art style of the game, the narration and also the mechanics which obviously inspired from The Stanley Parable. Some level did got me stuck for some time like the pool level, but I figured it out eventually. Need some lighting on the final platforming section. But overall a solid game!
Thx for feedback! Yes, that’s my mistake with the lighting.
Great atmosphere and artwork. Feels like a mix between The Stanley Parable and Portal. Really impressive for a one week jam. Good job!!
Thanks for the comment! Yes, we drew inspiration from those games. It’s great to hear that the work we put in over the week paid off!
I really enjoyed this game. I thought some of the puzzles were pretty easy especially considering the solution for the puzzles is kinda in the title of the game, but still. There was one glitch I found at the start point of the last level i spawned in and my camera would half clip out of bounds. But other than that its a great game!
Thanks for the comment! I mentioned this a bit further down, but during development, we removed the complex levels and simplified the existing ones because they seemed too difficult to us.
Cool game, very reminiscent of Portal. I found the final platforming in the dark section very difficult, with some of the jumps being nearly blind on my monitor.
Thanks for the comment! It was my mistake to make the last stage so dark... Well, I'll keep that in mind for the future, I need to make such stages lighter. I know about this mistake, but I didn't have time to fix it.
I can confirm that he is in fact lying :) It definitely could’ve been longer with more puzzles!
Thanks for the comment! To be honest, we significantly toned down the puzzles in our game and removed the hardest ones.
cool portal vibes
Thx for comment!
Absolutely love the portal like feeling. Kind of hard to keep playing after the shooting so I stopped. But I totally get the concept and very well excution of previous levels.
Thanks for the comment. The level with the pistol is practically the finale, so you didn't miss much though it is a shame, of course, that you weren't able to finish the game.
The idea of a (portal like game) shows the theme of the jam really well. The narration and gameplay are also really good. Its a big game for being done in one week. Good Job!
It's great to hear that! Thanks for the comment.
Nice ambiance, and i loved the narration ! I think you should add a visual that shows the center of the screen, it makes it a bit trickier to play, and it laks a bit of music. Otherwise, it's a very good job, and i got caught by the game, congrats !
Thank you very much for such a detailed comment! We will strive to make improvements.
amazing game, only had slight issues with camera clipping but nothing game breaking
thx for feedback
Pretty cool, liked the narration, could've kept playing
Thx for feedback! Yes, I’d like to continue the story, it’s a shame there wasn’t much time.
muito bom, daria um bom jogo comercial
Thanks for the comment! If you really think so, that's awesome.
Пацаны, ну вы даванули, ну и красавцы! ИГРА КАЙФ! У меня привстал! Единственное, конец оказался вяленьким, но у нас в игре так же! PORTAL VIBES GO!!!
хахахахаха от души братан
A really fun game! I quite like the graphics
Thx for feedback!
Really cool game that reminded me of The Stanley Parable. The voice acting and art is great and I really enjoyed the cannon part!
Thanks for the comments! The voice actor is happy.
Cool visual style with engaging gameplay. Nicely done!
