How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme of the jam because mistrust and betrayal are central themes in the story, and because its mechanics require you to know who to trust to help you in combat.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
only sound, everything else was from scratch

the intro is quite long for my taste but it is clearly something you enjoyed and its a creative setting for this jam :)

very nice idea. I love the shadow mechanic. The boss mechanic was also very unique but it was hard to tell sometimes.

The writing is really awesome I like it. I think taking the story and putting it in a horror game would be really cool.

A very interesting concept for the mechanic. A front-facing traditional weapon that then empowers your shadow to use as a back-facing weapon. I think the boss telegraphing was sometimes weak, but otherwise I quite liked this.

I played the game and voted for it. You did a great job incorporating the theme throughout the game. Everything from the UI to the sound effects was excellent, and the creative idea made it even better
