Description
The imaginary game that would accompany the soundtrack would be an action/ RPG adventure game about nostalgia and forgotten memories which takes place in a whimsical world.

The first track titled: "Reflection" is the leitmotif of the protagonist and of the story in general.

The second track titled: "Pierrot's Antique Shop" is the theme of a sad / happy jester kind of character who is also a recurring merchant throughout the game. His two sides are represented in the harmonic progression of the track which is constantly shifting between major and minor.

The third and final track titled: "Deja Vu" would accompany a boss fight with a character that in some way represents the "mirror image" of our protagonist, something like a reflection of them. To emphasise this idea, I used the main leitmotif of the protagonist but in reverse and with completely different orchestration.

In general, the three tracks are all comprised of the same leitmotif, as a way to connect them to the same world and story. As for the tools, I used Logic Pro for the arrangement and mainly Spitfire and Eastwest sample libraries for the orchestral samples.

Message from the artist
Because this is my first game jam, I just want to say that I loved the experience of creating this imaginary soundtrack and hope to participate in many more jams to come.

High quality stuff! All the instruments sound nice and there is good variety in the OST even though there's only 3 songs to work with.

I mean...dang! everything is solid and full! I believe you know this craft quite well already. Honestly I just think you're better than the sound libraries! I mean that only in praise of your tracks. I know this is a short window jam and stuff, but I just hope your music could be recorded with live instruments! Thanks so much for sharing.

Wonderful job with these! They remind me heavily of Joe Hisaishi's music and the Dragon Quest OSTs.

These are really excellent compositions, well done! I really enjoyed all 3 tracks, but I think Recollection was my favourite. Really beautiful sense of harmony. Also loved the  unusual time signature in Deja Vu, it worked really well. I definitely feel the pieces nailed what you were going for in the descriptions. Great work!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

If you told me that that you were a full time composer making AAA soundtracks I would believe you. Very well composed tracks that give off extremely polished vibes. I struggle to find critiques when the tracks are so good. I think my favorite out of the three is the first one as it reminds me of one of my favorite pieces "Halcyon Hearts". My only critique is that the first two songs kind of end abruptly. Like I expected more and it just stopped. But other than that, amazing entry!

Thank you very much! I didn't know that piece but I looked it up and it sure is pretty. Thanks for the notes too.

I liked all 3 tracks. My favorite was "Recollection", as I loved the soaring string lines of your leitmotif. I also appreciated the recurrence of the leitmotif during the battle music. "Antique Shop" is exactly as  you described it, a  "sad/happy jester" character.

Thank you very much.
