The classic Game Boy platformer visuals are so pleasing  🙌

Thank you so much!
If possible, I would be glad if you could play the game and give me feedback😄

Just gave it a try.  For me personally the keyboard controls weren't entirely natural - I kept hitting the wrong key and doing the wrong thing.  Also at the very beginning, it says press any button for the menu, but the only key that would actually work was J.

Otherwise, the game is very fun!  All enemy sprites and scenery was bright and attractive, the music was perfect for the genre, and it's got some good overall polish to it.

Thanks for trying and for your thoughtful feedback!

Okay, I understand that there is a problem with the input of the menu and then the keyboard controls.

I'll check it as soon as possible and include it in the update task.

And I'm more than happy if you enjoyed it as much as possible.

I am happy to get your compliments!🙌

The perfect nostalgic visual style, with spooky elements!  What's the premise of the game?

Thank you so much! Let's just say that it's a lost unfinished NES game that's a bit too broken.

Haha I love that.  I just checked out your game page and not only do all of the games look very cool, but also I remember Dere.exe cos I saw Markiplier play it  😄

Wow! I'm glad that playthrough is still memorable to some people, it's been six years or more so it's really cool that you still remember it!

Your games look awesome as well! True Colors has such an interesting premise. Down the road when I have time, I'll be sure to check it out! My attention span is currently shot, and I need to fix it to devote nine hours to a VN, but from what I've read it seems worth it.

Good luck in your game dev journey!

Oh thank you!  Yeah I definitely remember it - I really enjoy indie horrors.  Best of luck to you too!

I am just reading a book on old NES games and you captured the aesthetic perfectly.

Thank you! it is an NES game though, playable on an emulator. Glad the game is getting some attention here. What book  is that btw? I want to read it too

Ah, did not notice that, was only looking at the screenshot. :) The book is NES/Famicom: a visual compendium.

I just released the whole game for free: https://magory.itch.io/catup :)

Hey this looks cool

Thanks. It is a fun game but not many checked it out so far. Probably because it requires downloading - it uses and old engine that I can't get to work in a browser...
