I always find your stuff very refreshing to listen to. It's like washing your ears from all the sunshine and rainbows with burnt oil and rusty nails - and I mean it in a GOOD way! xD
Great job, I'm glad you didn't back down from this jam.

Description
Time for some fascinating stories...
To start: this track is part of a proposed full-length album, the idea for which I came up with while working on this publication...
The plot of this particular track? Imagine that YOU have been kidnapped by cultist maniacs. They kidnapped you and a girl you don't know... and locked you both in big catacombs, looking like sewers or an abandoned submarine...
There is steam everywhere, screams, tears... And moans, of course!
LO-OOPS!
Due to the peculiarity of the genre (and the fact that I don't know how to make music) I made the track this way: the main track is an approximate compilation and “mini-adventure”, which collected parts of the supposed location...
Loops are relatively “successful” pieces, which usually sound without extraneous voices, but with the same interference as the main track! They are supposed to sound at any other moment, sometimes there is pure silence instead of music....
What each fragment of the track is responsible for... I, of course, have ideas and tasks... But, I think, let you better make your own impression :D
(P.S. I am terribly dissatisfied with the last part of the track. I think it's cheesy, not worthy of life)
How did I do it? Well...
100500 modules, modular synthesizers, effects... See a bunch of samples on the screenshots? That was me messing around with regular synthesizers, crooked artificial bass guitars and other vst, turning regular (and sometimes boring) chunks of sound into...
...distorted chunks of sound!
What exactly did I do?
I took any small batch of drums, bass guitars from FLEX and built different chains of modular effects, trying to get a degraded and dirty sound.... And a lot of resampling, drones that were made from VERYVERY slow drum loops...
All I had was this:
* A set of Old-school drum parts
* FPC (native)
* FLEX (only used guitars)
* SurgeXT
* Cardinal
* Trikit Krush
* EQ by Ozone...
* A few default plugins for processing... but mostly used good old Cardial :>
In the process of this track I managed to create about ~100 different samples, loops, earcandy and stuff... and if you take into account that I worked on other tracks for inspiration...
Anyway, I managed to build up a collection in these two weeks that I will never use :)
Who were my inspirations?
Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails (YEAR ZERO = LOVE) and... in general all the industrial scene my ears could reach :>
P.S.S. The screams and moans in the background are my screams and moans... A little phrase from the robot is the default Microsoft TTS, which is older than me :D
P.S.S.S. I give a 99.99999% guarantee that in the categories of “Listenability ” and “Correlation to Theme” I definitely lost. Again. Because notes are hell and my ears - is my enemy
Pick your mode!
Which Motif did you use?

Great job, I'm glad you didn't back down from this jam.
As always I really like your sound design and unorthodox style of production! If you ain't redlining you ain't headlining!
Great work
I don't even know what to say. At first I was struggling to find the theme but I remember you saying you struggle to understand reading it and maybe even listening to it that I kinda figured it out at some point where it was. You also actually managed to do 4 loops that works really well and blend perfectly. Your industrial style still amazes me, you really have your own unique style and its pretty rare this early to get associated with something in particular, of course the giga loud volume is always a downside but maybe one day you'll learn to tone it down.
My head hurts just looking at the amount of tracks in the DAW picture... 😂
As usual, there is some really cool sounds and other stuff littered throughout + I'm starting feel percussion is one your strong suits in addition to the sound design, since there is some nice grooves in this.
I think from when I first heard you stuff in OST Comp Jam #7, you've managed to hone your production chops a lot, since from what I remember of the 1+ hour submission in that, this is a whole step above that in production.
Good work!
This is just absurd, the way you managed to arrange all these sounds into a banger like this with such good effects, too! Really the only things i didn't quite like were the melodic guitar parts, i think that the restraint of using the motif held you back from going completely nuts with the sounds, which i think is the best part of your music.
Still, it was an absolutely crazy experience listening to this, loved it!
I think there is not really someone else who can hold a candle to the sound design and creative and rhythmic use of noise and samples like you do. While being industrial and shredded to pieces it got a somewhat whimsical yearly 2000er energy. Like it could have come from a Rayman game. From the industrial I had to listen to over the years I have to say that yours has a certain sympathy that I quite like. It isn’t just distorted and compressed to hell like for example something from Eisenfunk or AND ONE, who might go more into goth. Babbling aside I’m glad you joined the jam anyways although you had to fight some health problems. I might be able to hear some part of the second motif in there.
I love your industrial, existentialist style. I think there is a sort of vibe of existentialism in gaming going on, where you have games that emulate the myth of sissyphus, and these games where you have to climb up impossibly high things and then if you fall, you might fall all the way to the bottom after hours of work.
I feel like that emerging genre is a place where your music could find application to a video game in particular.
Heh... I also like how you ended up going right up against, and slightly past the 5 minute limit, oh you who are famous for your hour long submissions.
DUDE the sound design on this is AMAZING WTF. There's an incredible amount of detail through this entire thing and at no point did it stop feeling like new banger sections and tiny details were being thrown around left and right. The section that starts around 3:40 is genuinely so so good holy moly. I had to listen to that like 5 times over and each time I had a more exaggerated stank face. It's faint, but I can sorta hear the motif in there. It does feel like a bit of a stretch, though I can't disagree more when you say that you lost on listenability. There's an insane level of control on all of the extremely harsh sounds that should normally, in theory, be painful to listen to. I'm wearing headphones and this is clean as hell and maximally banging. This was a joy to listen to, phenomenal work! :D
I watched that in an X/Y Oscilloscope...
That song is a sound design spectacle and a nightmare for.. well most.
I am lucky I torture myself with noise everyday, I could endure that.
It's a song you need to.. learn to endure, that's my opinion.
It's good, but good for a certain audience.
But keep making music, just.. don't make the final mix so obnoxiously loud.
But, you'll learn that with time I guess.
That last part is actually wicked to me! Even if you found it cheesy yourself, maybe transposing the melody into a spicier tonality might help with it? What I really loved there was how sonically gruesome it really got, gave me some mega stank face lol. Props on setting up multiple loop points as well. Keep cooking you absolute mad scientist!
