Really awesome game! I sadly was too late to rate due to holidays, but really enjoyed this take on the theme. The puzzles progressed nicely, everything was instantly understandable, and lovely atmosphere too. Great job!

Fantastic game with great atmosphere and interesting puzzles!
The hints are very helpful without giving away the answer and the sound effects and animations were very well polished
Great job!
Brilliant submission, i loved the atmospere and completing the puzzles was satisfying. Lots of little details to admire such as the cloth physics all round great game with no apparant flaws. Congrats!
This was such a good execution of a really cool concept honestly. Everything worked seamlessly and felt really complete and bug free. The aesthetic of this game was really appealing and I think you absolutely nailed this submission. My only criticism would be that the green and red lights on the switches in the last level were a little hard to distinguish for me at times but other than that, this felt incredibly refined. Great job!
That's a very cool concept! And it's very well executed, no bug, everything is smooth, and well polished. The levels are well design, in my opinion. I really like the cape effect, I wonder how it was done, but it's a very cool idea that can be adapter in many gameplay. I also liked the music and the general atmosphere. Everything feels coherent. Well done and congrats ! :D
Thanks for trying the game. The cape effect is pretty much the tutorial wave shader but applied along a curve so that more "wave" is applied further from the head position and then scale by the player speed. I through it in on the final day because they looked to static then the rest is just lazy scale animation in engine.
I wanted to do nice cloth animations in blender but I'm veryyyyy new to 3D art so I couldn't figure out how to rig the cloak correctly to animate it.
Ah yes that's a smart idea using shader for animation! Although i was refering to the effect that makes other stuff visible, like markings on the floor. When we put the cape there is this bubble like zone of new visibility. And i was intrigued how it was done. Sorry for not being very clear ^^' On top of that, I feel quite stupid because you linked the video explaining the effect in the description of the game page, which i'm only noticing now xD
But it high-lights something I didn't noticed before, the fact that you did all the 3D assets of the game, and they look great! So congrats on that too :)
Oooohhh, sorry, I misunderstood. Yeah the effect is a slightly modified version of the one from that video, the only difference in mine is that I added an extra uniform bool to completely discard pixels outside of the zone radius. That creates the "hidden" paintings.
I'm still very much a beginner at 3D but trying to improve by trying to do everything I can in my jam assets. But thanks!
Oh. My. God. I just love everything about your game. The looks, the atmosphere, the puzzles, the menu, the end cutscene, ... everything is so perfect. Honestly my new favorite (or it's a tie) game of the jam ! Really nice work !!!
Amazing game all around! nailed the mood and aesthetic with a really cool implementation of the theme! And even has a cute little storry!!
I really like the game! The clock on the ghost just looks really cute!
It was a great, short puzzle game. The Green/Blue cloak room was a little tight on timing, but otherwise I had no problem getting through each puzzle after solving what to do.
Cheers Aidan. I find making puzzles a bit tricky when it comes to tuning. You get so used to playing them yourself that it can make them frustrating for first time players. Time for play testers is something I struggle with most jams tbh haha. My first attempt at a puzzle game so I kept it pretty simple and easy (for the most part).
Very nice little puzzle game with a lot of polish and a good atmosphere, I really like it! Great job 😄
LOL the end cutscene, what a polite ghost. Nice work, loved the way you represented the visibility range while in the cloaks.
I loved it! The puzzles made sense and I felt smart figuring them out! Nothing more to say lol it was very good
