For a first game, it's not bad at all. It is pretty simple but I like the theme of the game.

Not bad graphics with boring gameplay.
It is a good retro-styled minigame, and I found it quite entretaining!
I really liked the retro-style art and gameplay. However, the game felt a bit difficult—the enemy attacks in the first stage are quite fast. I think having movement not just left and right, but also forward and backward, would’ve made things a bit more manageable. Still, I had fun playing it!
Made it to only 16s left, The game is fun.
Tbh the fun comes after the first two time period because before that you can just hug a wall and you will destroy the ship arriving before it can shot at you.
For me adding a score system and making the ennemy more likely to spawn next to a wall will make the game more fun
The art is for the most part good and I really really like that our ship shoot two canonballs, it is a great decision.

Really funny idea U.U, the difficulty was a bit too high for me but for people that like this type of game it might be really funny.
I really like the idea! I think its a bit unforgiving to get 1 shot. I also found nearly no incentive to fight the ships but I gladfully took on the challenge even though I would die. Really fun game for beginners, great job!
Glad you enjoyed, you're right, I think if we did this again, I would have added a highscore system or a reason to shoot things rather than just having to survive.
I really like the idea of Pirate ship vs Fighter jet. I felt like the one shot kill to the player made the game a little too difficult once it got to that stage, however. Overall I would say this is a great idea and I would be interested to see what you guys develop next.
