This should be installed in school computers to make children learn how to type fast and multitask. Jokes aside what a good game. The last two nights had me optimizing each and every monster all while typing as fast as I can providing through the mechanics alone the feeling of rushing to finish a task (everyday of a university student). The artstyle is really good and the monster are not the xenobites but are good light horror designs and their screamer illustrations are really good. the music fits really good and the sfx are really clear but 100% enough to know what they are but there's always a slight thing that makes you think "did I heard that right?". Every single person in the team did an excelent job.

How does your game fit the theme?
You've been procrastinating on an essay and it's time to get started... but there's a twist! Can you avoid some spooky ghosts AND finish your essay on time?

Imagine me playing this in very low volume because of neighbors , at late night, trying to figure out when the first guy would knock, so I'm playing leaning forward closer to the monitor/speakers when I got surprised... 🤣🤣🤣

10/10, fantastic gameplay and mechanics... I got really tense and stressed out! LOVE IT
This was a very fun game and gave me FNAF vibes with the different ghosts that you have to avoid in different ways. The art on the jumpscares was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the typing aspect of the game! I'm not sure if it was intended but I feel like the game has a double meaning where you're stressing out because of the deadline and these ghosts are kind of manifestations of that. Overall, a great entry that I'm definitely going to come back to play!
this is a really fun fnaf style game with really cool mechanics. i love typing minigames so doing this was a blast, i really like how you slowly introduce the new threats until it's just a super chaotic multitasking nightmare.
Wow I loved the art and the music in this game. I want to know how you got all the timings to feel fair even when they were all working together, that's very impressive. Smooth gameplay, love the sound effects too. The whole time it felt like you were just hanging on to the edge to stay ahead of the monsters. Very nicely done! Also who hasn't been up at 4am finishing an essay xD
ah well the way the timings feel fair is that if any two attacks overlap, one of the attacks will be stalled and queued to occur after the previous one. so i set the queue to be just the right timing so it feels like you barely made it out alive
this is most apparent with the bunny and the knocker. probably multiple times you were in the closet and heard knocking and had just the perfect amount of time to reach the door. its on purpose :)
This game is incredible! All the monsters 'work together' in such interesting ways, which makes for some ingeniously tense and fun gameplay. Hiding in the closet from the bunny, while hearing frantic knocking, then sprinting to hide behind the door, only to just barely make it - perfection.
The Man was also a super cool idea; I've not seen something like that in this type of game before. Needing to pay close attention to the cycles of the hand and the bunny, so that you didn't get trapped at your desk with The Man when you needed to be hiding, was another layer of tension that I loved.
I liked the game but I skipped the texts and I shocked with the jumspcare LOL Nice game!! really makes you tensios()english is not my native)
This game was super fun and the tension was amazingly well done. I loved the art and music and the gameplay was very enjoyable, both as a typing game and FNAF enthusiast. I also appreciated the ability to turn off jump scares because I'm not good with those at all XD My only main critique is that I found some of the difficulty to be too hard/luck-based, as sometimes it was impossible to survive two monster attacks simultaneously (one required me to be in the closet and one required me to be behind the door at the same time). Overall well done! Definitely one of my favorite games from this jam :)
actually in the case where the knocker and the bunny attack at the same time, one of the attacks will be stalled and queue to occur after another one has happened
so if you hear knocking while in the closet there is 100% certainty you can get behind the door in time with about a second or two to spare
Extremely well done art and music! You nailed the atmosphere and this got real tense real quick!
A really amazing game! I especially liked how all the monsters worked so well together and the challenge that gave (bunny and knocker...). Need to improve my typing speed to actually beat this lol
Fun: amazing, very creepy, trying to manage all the monsters was tough and stressful, I just wish you had changed the typing to something else.
presentation: the best so far, amazing, great animation, great artwork, great sound design, beautiful
Creativity: great idea, starting an essay, while avoiding the monsters was so spicial
Such a cool game. Each added threat was engaging on their own, and aren't able to overlap, so it avoided the usual Fnaf fan game problem of being boring before all of the threats are added but also prevented unfair deaths from multiple threats at once. The visuals and music are so charming and detailed, it's super impressive you got all this done in 10 days. This kid really needs to just write his essays during the day, though, they're like 30 words long and he's so sleep deprived his sentences don't make grammatical sense. My day 5 essay ended with "Overall; hospital."
Took me various tries because I'm not use to FNAF-like mechanics (skill issue), but honestly the concept is so cool and it's nicely executed! The art is cute but at the same time it sets the proper mood for a tense night!
Typeracer meets FNAF causes heart attacks and arthritis. Well done this is a flawless executed concept with beautiful music, art and atmosphere as well as engaging gameplay that creates an experience I am surprised to find inside a game jam. I scare very easily to jumpscares, but I had to power through for this review cause this was an experience unlike any other. Well done and hats off to the entire team!
Never have I wanted to improve my typing speed more than playing this game has made me want to... Great game! Night 5 was quite difficult simply because I couldn't type accurately fast enough (I did beat it thought!). Overall very well put together!
I think I’m gonna have nightmares lol. Great game!
