WOW super cool game. Wasn't smart enough to get through it on my own but after getting an assist from a friend I got past it and it was such a cool concept! Everything looked and felt super clean, great work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

I'm not smart enough to get far enough, but I wish I were, because the game looks, feels, and sounds amazing.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We can help you if you want, you can find some spoilers in the oldest comments on this page.

I liked the art and everything, though I was unable to get past the point where you are introduced to the dash mechanic :( Otherwise, great game!

I like the art style and the puzzle mechanics! I would have enjoyed a save of some sort however, cause I played a bit then had to leave it and come back but lost progress.

Developer (1 edit)

I understand but we didn't find it necessary since it is a short game

Really cute game tbh

Developer

Thanks!

By the way did you draw the assets yourself?

Developer

Some are drawn by the other developer, but mostly are free from the internet!

Developer

For example the tiles that the map is made of are from the internet

Wow, that was amazing, the story is the best ever, liked every aspect of the game! Would love to play more games like this!

Developer

Thanks for your nice words! :)

That was such a great experience!!!

You guys nailed it on your first ever jam entry, it had me hooked right from the get go and everything from the art and mechanics to the sound design is all so perfect!

Really fun and great looking game, though I'd love to be able to dash everywhere and not just to certain spots

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

What a stellar run on the theme?! Never leaving the tutorial is a great idea and this delivers. The reusage of the same areas was a great way to ensure you had polish and it paid off. Also loved there was no attack cooldown, you better believe my rhythm game self was spamming that button every time XD

Developer(+1)

That's nice to hear, thank you!

Very cool

Developer

Let's go! Appreciate you

this feels awesome, i wish it had a combo system if you attacked in different direction, never played a game that gives you combat in this way, it felt very fresh to me

Developer (4 edits)

Didn't focus that much on the combat system, we initially wanted to but we didn't have time for it. We focused on making the story and fitting the theme as good as we could. Thanks for the feedback!

niceee

Quite a good game, the movement feels pretty good. Kind of fun to have what looks like a combat game turn out to be a story game :)

Developer

That's very nice to hear! One of the things we wanted was to surprise the players :) (in a good way ofc)

Great game! Art style is amazing and love the unique controls. Took a bit getting use to, but overall an enjoyable experience.

Developer

Appreciate you for playing. Thanks!

This was really cool, the storytelling is amazing. The combat controls were a little... unusual, but work surprisingly good. I also liked the humor. Keep it up!

Developer

Thank you!

Just played the whole game. Peak storytelling. Peak art design. It's almost as if you are not a newbie. (this is a compliment)

Developer

Thank you so so much!

A very fun and creative idea for a game! I really loved how each loop had it’s new quirk and how quickly it became messed up. Really a great use of the same areas by changing just a little.

Being able to just absolutely mash the attack button definitely activated some neurons in me as well hehe.

My only “complaint” is that the puzzles were too simple, but I think the general setting makes up for it eitherway.

Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks! We didn't want to confuse the players with complicate puzzles. The story and how it fits the theme mattered the most for us.

Really creative idea for the story and great use of your assets! The one thing I would say is it needs a little more to the puzzles, I felt like it was holding my hand a little too much. Great game, keep up the good work!
