A bit confusing at first. There was a glitch with the ragdolls flying around in the Web build. The game itself is still pretty nice and I enjoyed the concept ;)

Hi, thanks for playing!
Wow, ragdolls flying around is a new one, was it only present in web gl build, have you tried windows?

Submitted

I tried it now on Windows, no issues at all! It was much better now ;)

This was awesome! Loved the art and animations and the hyper jumping was really satysfying.

Good work you both!!

Thanks!

Hi! Your review on my game made me check out yours, since we had basically the same core mechanic, lol. The visuals are great, nicely polished assets and camera work. Puzzles make sense; my complaints are that the jumping on iterations could have been taught sooner, and some jumps feel like you should be able to do them without jumping on top of an iteration. I like the inclusion of an iteration counter after every level, i should've done something like that for my game.

Developer

Hi! We thought to show jumping as tutorial so late as it required to be percie in that spot. In earlier stages in the game it was more up to player to mess around, and he'll get it one or another way. But probably for better tutorial we would enable hyper jump just later in the game, were it required.
Yeah, some platforms needs to be adjusted to not require a corpse.
Thanks for playing!

Very and very creative idea!

The level of polish you were able to achieve in the time is really impressive! The art and animation is beautiful and I really liked that some of the later puzzles incorporated things like moving the player spawn. I did have some trouble with some of the platforms where my player would get stuck on the edge causing me to fall and on one of the levels it seemed like the player couldn't jump as high as the others which seemed odd but overall this was really nicely made and lots of fun!

Developer(+1)

Heeey, yeah we struggled a bit to make it feel like a finished game. Cool thing that you noticed spawn moving, yeah, that's something I though of would be cool, among other level design tricks. Unfortunately didn't have enough time to make levels to use all of them.
Regarding controls and physics - its janky, made just to work reliably enough for the demo. Jump height can differ depending on how you move before that, or if corpse gives you acceleration beforehand, either way, as you rightly noticed  its inconsistent and will be reworked if we were to work on game further.
Glad you had fun and thanks for playing!

Great art and execution, but its a bit clunky. Sometimes the bodies just fall off of places, sometimes you push them away when you barely touch them, and sometimes you can barely move them at all. These could all be fixed with a bit more time tho, so for 4 days this is great, good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback! Yeah, physics is a tricky thing to setup, we should really work on it if were to continue developing, bodies definitely should be a more reliable tool.

Cool concept! The visuals are very sharp and crisp, overall a great designed game!

This is really cool. I also made a game based around dying and using the remains. the artwork and audio is especially good and polished. I like the style of it, im not sure if it would be called 2.5D or whatever the term is, but its quite good.

Cool take on the theme and it has a sort of retro feel to it while looking really crisp. Nicely done!

Developer

Thanks!

Nice little game, reminds of some old flash games like "The company of myself" where you use your past iterations to solve puzzles which I've always enjoyed.
The extra jump mechanic was fun once you get the hang of it. Although it was a little annoying that some short ledges required the corpse jump when they didn't seem very high.
Overall, really good and fun!

Developer

Hi! I did tried "The company of myself", it surely does have catching loneliness  vibe to it which I also liked. Yeah, thanks for feedback, ledges do seem jumpable while their not. We'll gonna rework that part for sure if continue to work on the game further.

it's nice :)

Developer

Thank you!

Fun game, it does behave weirdly with some bodies that fly around.
And the buttons remained pushed when bodies are moved away.

Still a fun concept, with incredible animations and art !

Developer

Thanks  for playing!
Yeah, we were struggling with physics a lot, so some artifacts remains, and some bugs remains features)

cool gimmick!

Developer

Thanks! Was born of the bug)

nice game, the mechanic remind me of mine, 3d is very hard so congratulations!!

Developer(+2)

Oh yeah, making 3d with somehow balanced color scheme in such short time was hard, kudos to our artist. Yeah, your game is really cool too!

Made it till the end! Yippiee!!
I see much effort was put into creating this entry. Especially the 3D part is cool. Although I've encountered a bug in which you iterate/die on the game's start and you won't respawn.. Good game tho!

Developer(+2)

Hi! Making it till the end was brutal.. Congrats to you too. Our artist did amazing job with 3d, and yeah we spend on looks considerable amount of time, thanks) Wow, this bug sounds critical, can you tell how to reproduce it? Thanks!

Developer

Hi! Awesome that you made it to the end) We're really happy you enjoyed our game) Thanks for the warm feedback! 😊
