How does your game fit the theme?
My game interprets the theme "Loop" both narratively and mechanically. Each day in the game represents a cycle where the player performs tasks (like gathering, building, or exploring). At the end of the day, the cycle resets — but instead of starting from scratch, the player leaves behind a ghost that replays their previous actions. Over time, the player collaborates with their past selves to automate tasks, creating an increasingly complex and satisfying gameplay loop. This literal and strategic use of loops is central to the game’s core design and experience.

I loved it! I found myself trying hard to finish all the quests and I finished in 35 loops.

This mix, between "TownsFolk" and minecraft is really interesting especially for the time limit that requires you to rush to get all the ressources you need to continue expanding and crafting! It could really be the base for a bigger project.

In the beginning I did not understand that I could craft things and put them in the map, but I understood very fast.

It's a very polished game for 4 days and considering you are alone, that's insane!

Congratulations Alexis!

Developer

Wow, thank you so much! 🙏 I’m really happy you enjoyed it and pushed through to finish all the quests in 35 loops — that’s impressive! I’m glad the mix of TownsFolk and Minecraft vibes worked for you, and yeah, the time pressure was exactly meant to create that “rush” feeling. Totally noted for the crafting clarity at the start, I’ll make it more obvious in a future version. Thanks again for the kind words — your feedback really motivates me to keep expanding this project! 🚀

That is e pretty game with a lot of things to do. I enjoyed the mechanics and the atmosphere. Good entry, nice work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Really happy you enjoyed the vibe and the gameplay — I had a blast making it!

That game rocks (pun intended)! One of the uniquest takes on self-cloning I've seen this jam. You clone yourself to gather resources quicker, and then expand your land and stats to rule your land. Satisfying animations and SFX and fun gameplay loop. Good job!

Developer

Wow, thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked the cloning concept 😄 We wanted to create a unique and satisfying gameplay loop, so your feedback means a lot. Thanks for playing!

I've never seen the timeloop-clone mechanic be used for a survival game before. Really fun to try and automate everything as efficiently as possible. I can imagine that getting very hard to do at a larger scale (but very satisfying). Would love to see how more mechanics could get introduced as something like this progresses. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much — that’s exactly what I was going for! 😊

The idea was to blend the time-loop/clone mechanic with survival and automation, and I’m really happy it clicked with you.

You’re totally right — the larger the loop gets, the more chaotic (but satisfying) it becomes to optimize every little step.

I’d love to expand it with more mechanics.

Thanks again for the kind words and for playing!

Wow I'm surprised this game doesn't have more review, it's very polished. Very addictive, if the player would get a few more upgrades early on it would be even more addictive.

Developer

Thanks so much — that really means a lot to me!
I'm super glad you found it addictive. You're absolutely right about both the early and late upgrades — the pacing is definitely something I’d love to refine. Adding more content at the start and end could really take the whole experience to another level

I had a lot of fun! I wish that I could keep playing past the win screen and just build the island out more. Maybe a health upgrade would be nice? My loopers were killed by zombies a lot

Developer

I'm so glad you had fun — thank you! 😊

You're totally right — I really should’ve added a button to keep playing after the win screen and unlock the full island for those who want to keep optimizing their base!

As for the zombies… yeah, they’re relentless
I had plans for an armor or health upgrade, but you know how time goes during a jam, ahah. 😅

Thanks again for playing and for the awesome feedback!

Really great concept! I could see myself getting very addicted to this.

Developer

Thanks a lot! 😄
That’s exactly what I was hoping for — a little addictive loop you just have to replay “one more time”!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I love the game concept, but I wish it picked up pace a little faster... I think it would be great if after each loop the player could buy at least something. Other than that, everything feels great to me.

Now I wonder how many tiles and characters can the game handle performance-wise... 😅

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much ! 😊

For the pacing: the hardest part is getting that first Tent. But after that, each loop should let you gather enough resources to buy at least one building or extension — it snowballs from there!

As for performance — surprisingly solid! The clones just replay recorded actions (like position, jumps, tool use), so it’s much lighter than full re-simulation.
But hey, feel free to stress test it and see how far you can push it 😅

Thanks again for playing!

i think the loop is too short to do anything

Developer(+2)

Thanks for your feedback!

Actually, you can buy campfires after each loop using 5 stones. These campfires add extra time to your loop, letting you do more and explore further.
Hope that helps make the loops feel more meaningful! 😊

wow, that's great, maybe let this design to be known at first can make people like me less confused and this game better

Developer

That’s a great point — showing the design early on could definitely help players understand it better and enjoy the game more. I’ll keep that in mind for the next update! But i didn't had time 😅

This game was exactly what I needed after all of the stress of developing my game. The resource gathering is really satisfying! I love how it feels like you're working together with all of the past versions of yourself.
Also, how did you manage to make a play-in-browser 3D game (with gameplay recording mechanics) not lag at all, even on my struggling little laptop?

Developer

Thank you so much — that really means a lot! ❤
This was actually my first solo game jam, and my last jam was over two years ago, so your kind words mean even more!
I'm really glad the game could give you a moment to relax after all the dev stress. The idea of teaming up with past versions of yourself was the heart of the loop mechanic — I just wish I had more time to expand on it!

As for performance: the replay system works kind of like multiplayer — I only record key actions each frame (like movement, jumps, tool switches, etc.), not actual gameplay footage, which keeps things lightweight. And as for WebGL… big thanks to Unity for making it run smoothly!

Thanks again for playing — and congrats on finishing your own game too!
