Very fun!
I felt like the guessing was more of trying to follow the tracker and what instrument played when though.
Might be a fun game to finish up after the jam and do a full release!
As a drummer I have to say that I really liked this game! It was really fun to understand exactly what it was played...I also was overthinking many times.
I think that my only comment would be to have the option to hear the original track both with or without your drum because sometimes, if you go too off, things will become messy and you have to delete everything and restart.
Maybe a sequel with other instruments? :D

Also the idea of more instruments was floating in my head. You kno wdifferent tab for dofferent music instruments. Lucky I realizes maybe one instrument is enough and if you have time just add more. And as it is often with game jam, there was not more time :D
Classic game jame experience, 1000 ideas and time to implement just one...2 if you are lucky.

I had lots of fun in free play making my own drum play! I love that you see the respective drum that plays in the background to help you identify it!
I can't help but think that the duck is judging me really hard when I make a mistake.

Hello! I enjoyed your game. I liked the different loops you had to solve. one of them i was surprised i was wrong. the free play mode is a nice touch. also there is a duck and that ups you one star in artwork on its own. do wish that the loop element was slightly more engrained into the gameplay. perhaps trying to pick out the different looped tracks of different lengths in one big song. Congrats on submitting!
HI, thanks for playing. To be honest, that does sound like a good idea, not to select individual notes but to select from presets of each instrument loop to compose it. Dam, that is actually a good idea. I am pissed I didn't think of that :D. Either way, thanks for the feedback
That’s a good idea, nice to work on the ability to memorize and reproduce rhythms! I feel there should be a limit on the number of times you can repeat the beat. Being able to just replay it any number of times trivialize the exercise IMO (but then it’s on the player too not to optimize away the fun :P).
I did have a bug at the… 4th level I think? Where the music was validated, but didn’t move to the next level, and I had to quit the game.
Thanks for playing. Unfortunately, the 4th level isn't a bug. It is just poor playtesting. The difficulty spikes quite rapidly. At the 4th level, you are probably missing the snare on the 3rd note of the 3rd beat (in the same column as the second hi-hat). I was playing with the idea that the replay would cost some points, so it would also be interesting mechanics, but I decided not to overcomplicate it. Thanks for the feedback!
I am really bad at those kind of games, but it was a lot of fun, well done! And bonus point for the duck.

I really like the sprite work for the drum set. Very fun game, and I love putting my music muscles to the test. Great job! I don't know why the duck is there, but Its adorable and I love it.

Dude, there is a separate play mode for that :D How did you even end up with -11625 points? For 1 mistake there is -15 :D

I had a great time playing this game and I did like 28 or so tracks. Around track 19 or so the rhythm reminded me of Short Circuit by Daft Punk and I enjoyed that one the most! I also liked the duck quacks even when I got it wrong sometimes lol
You have no idea how glad I am to hear this. There are 30 tracks total, but I was afraid I made it too hard because I didn't playtest properly. So you put a huge smile on my face, thank you for playing

As a programmer I've duck typed before but this is the first time I've duck drummed. Nicely done!
