I came because of the funny pic and I was not disappointed. The idea of player against your past self is super cool and the polish here is really nice, I love how the screen follows the mouse around it's a really nice touch. Great submission!

Really enjoyed this one! It took me a moment to grasp everything, but once I did I had a great time with this game!

Keep up the good work! Twórzcie dalej, macie naprawdę ogromny talent i potencjał jako 3osobowy teamek.

very solid game! had a bit of trouble figuring out how it worked but it was pretty fun to strategize when i got the gist of it

Developer

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it in the end, improving the tutorial is for sure the first thing on the list after the jam haha

A really good idea, overall a good experience.
I had to fail a couple of times before I really understood the scoring :D

Thanks for giving it a go!

It seems like the main sticking point for a lot of people is that the scoring isn't too clear, haha. Glad it eventually made sense though 🙏

It took a while to truly understand what was going on - the one major thing this needs is proper conveyances and warnings for things you're about to do, like lose all your cards. As an endless type of puzzler though, I got into the groove and quite enjoyed the strategic side of it. The rest of the game beyond the cards became pretty much noise, though I understand that the theme is hard to get across. It has a good loop (pun intended) that should be developed.

Thank you for playing, and thanks for the detailed feedback! There's definitely room for improvement, so it's good to know what exactly worked, and what wasn't as good lol

Glad you enjoyed the strategy of it in particular! That's really what we were aiming for with this one 🙌

Is it technically solitare if i'm playing against myself? I had a great time with this game! I wish there was a way to discard or have some more control over my hand, but had fun playing

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yeah definitely, that's something to consider haha 🙌

Wonderful time! I couldnt wrap my head around the hearts mechanics so I only made it a few hands in each time before running out of health, but did I enjoy those first few hands! Maybe you there's a way to make all the rules a bit more clear?

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! I definitely agree that there's a lot to improve with making the rules clearer, definitely something to revisit.

Basically the way the health mechanic works is that, during the defense turn, you have to match the attack points you've set up in the attack turn. For example, if you play one card with 4 attack, you'll need to play a card with 4 defense (or lower, but you'll lose health).

I hope that makes sense lol 🙏 Glad you enjoyed it overall!
