A nice simple fun game! Good job!
pretty simple mechanic, but very cool
i'd love to see it expanded with more enemies and upgrades
i loved how the main menu only lets you start the game once you figured out the controls!!
It's weird but fun. It feels like one of the flash games I played in a class years ago.
Glad you found it fun! I was going for a flash game look so I'm happy it worked!
The audio was verry responsive and the game was really fun. great job!
Very fun and unique concept! The game feel is top notch and the sound design is perfect. My only complaint would be that I can't get anything better than bronze on the 5th stage, but I got gold in the rest so I shouldn't complain 😉 Well done!
Very fun game, I had a blast getting all the trophies
, i think it could have been a little harder, I love the main menu btw, very cool idea
Very polished game, cool stuff!
I like how main menu is basically a guide for the game and personally I always get triggered at UI when new round begins, feeling like I need to parry it)
I really liked this! It's so satisfying when the rockets line up and you can hold a or d for a while and smash a bunch. Maybe would have been a good place to put a combo or something? I also wish it were physics-based so you could smash the rockets into each other or something? All that being said, it's a short game jam, great job!
well that was fun. finished the game pretty quick but i loved the gameloop.
Awesome one! I was actually so good, I only used one of the shields for a few levels. It reminded me a bit of the Undyne battles in Undertale, but simplified. I love the art, it's very juicy. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! now that you mention it, I see the resemblance
this is one of my favorite ones. great work!!! level five hit me hard, but not as hard as my son leaving me. 😁😁
OMG I love knocking the enemy away the animation plus the sounds make it soooo satisfying :D
I can see myself coming back to this game to play it more, I found myself looping around more often than switching though because of that delay on switching
thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Very nice! Simple, effective, and actually very satisfying. I like that you went for a mechanical heart instead of an organic one, it's not much but that adds a nice touch to the game.
This is typically the kind of jam entries that make me think "I want to play more of it", as it's very easy and quickly completed, even for a jam game, but I guess it's smarter to keep a reasonable scope than trying to do too much and end up posting an unfinished project, so I cannot really blame you for that!
Congrats :)
A simple, yet fun and polished game!
Brilliant concept, brilliant execution. I love every part of this game, good job!
Surprising amount of fun packed into this tiny game! Masterclass in keeping it simple. The difficulty curve was spot on too, I felt pretty awesome after playing. Well done!
Glad you liked it! thanks for the feedback, keeping it simple is the only way to survive a jam! ^_^
The sound design is nice and switching between sides to defend the heart is satisfying.
Good work!
Great job on the artwork—I really love it!
Loved the artwork, altho this game idea has been used so not so original, altho it was fun and enjoyable
